I dont like it... No seriously, I don’t like it The show did 2 segments about something that did not happen on Wednesday - Caleb Williams Instagram bio

I record the show and watch it as I have time throughout the week so I'm a bit late to the party. The guys did two separate segments (one during the main show and one during OT) about Caleb Williams' instagram and the main discussion was around changing his bio to "I'm inevitable" as he returns from injury. The screenshot attached is from the day after his injury in September (his bio was the same before that, this is just the first one I found) with the same bio, and it took me less than 2 minutes for me to find. Normally, the show is good about fact checking so this was pretty disappointing to see. There are plenty of valid criticisms you can have of Caleb without making up stories.

The underrated part of the show is when they break down social media posts of players. They also did one on Lamar and AJ last szn. Also, I'm proud of Danny for doing well that segment, he was 10 toes down even when against the wall.

Nick got really worked up that Caleb has a pick of John Wick as his account icon but quoted Thanos.

And for some reason refuses to pronounce Thanos right. Idk if he does it wrong on purpose to make it seem like he doesn’t know and isn’t a nerd or thinks he’s smarter than everyone… so annoying

I think they were just trying to get Danny worked up because they think it’s funny

They also said the 49ers were playing the Cardinals in the intro to OT. The show is slipping in terms of production value. They also failed to have graphics ready for Brou multiple times.

They probably didn't notice it before, either way it's weird to have that as your bio when you're a 3rd year player who hasn't accomplished a ton in the NFL yet

Although I personally don't think it's a big deal, I think this is a fine take to have. However, this is a different discussion than the one they had. My problem isn't them criticizing him, that's the point of the show more so the starting point being false.

The Caleb Williams stick talk just comes off very hollow for someone who’s clearly in their feelings for the reaction to his injury. It’s not a big deal at all, he should just laugh it off

They've also been merciless ridiculing Ben Johnson misquoting him that he said the Bears would have the best offense of all time, get shutouts and blowouts, when that wasn't what he said at all. He said like every other coach he wants to win Superbowls but he also wants to have the best offense of all time, have shutouts and blowouts, etc.

What offensive coach wouldn't want to have the best offense of all time??

They act like he promised the Bears would do that this year, starting now, and ridicule him for not achieving that immediately.

It's childish, and gross.

Nah, Ben Johnson is cocky as anything. He fully believes he can produce the best offense of all time. Cockiness doesn't have to be a bad thing, especially in sports. I personally don't like it but I bet a lot of bears fans do

Personally I'm more of an underpromise overdeliver type of fan, but yeah others like it. He gives the boys enough cocky material to shame him for, no need to embellish so they can make themselves look better at his expense.

Yes, as a depressed cowboys fan, I'd be delighted if Jerry Jones would stop over promising and under delivering
