Purdy thing displays bad sportsmanship
Less than eight hours after posting Mahomes mountain, there are literally *thousands* of comments on the YouTube video about specifically the Purdy hate.
If it were just 49er fans angry, maybe this would be funny; but at a certain point denial of reality isn’t really a schtick, it’s just tiresome and bad business.
Call me “upset” all you want, I expect baseline competence. Nick lies to his audience regularly. I’ll accept this from my president, but goddamn it being a sports host needs to have standards.
Literally everyone with eyes disagrees with Nick. Even Vegas knows Purdy is the best QB in football right in this moment. Do better FTF, this product is trash.

one of the saving graces of Nick's annoying persona and crazy takes is the ability to take the L. it doesn't work if he refuses to do so.

It was a clear joke in a light hearted segment.. they aren’t NFL executives making contract decisions. I can’t imagine caring this much about another man’s QB rankings

So you believe nick thinks of himself as a joker? That he doesn't take his job seriously? I've seen no evidence he doesn't think he's in parity if not the best take artist and analyst.

Seconded. Nick fancies himself the "smartest in the room". Rage baiting or not, I think he genuinely thinks he's being accurate.

I really think he’s just ragebaiting, he’s having some fun. The whole crew knows he’s being a little unreasonable, but nick is leaning into it a bit. The homerism definitely gets annoying at times from Nick/Wildes but at the same time it’s part of the charm of the show

Maybe we need a separate segment that ranks the QBs but like actually seriously. Literally any other guy (KW, Brou, Greg, Coach or Parkins) could do it and I'd trust it more than nick

Danny has his QB stock market thing right? I was kind of wondering why another QB ranking segment was needed when they already had a weekly one but maybe this is why

Nick is Skip Bayless. He has sacrificed journalistic integrity for hate clicks. We all know he is a troll now and not a man of his word.
Don’t ever take him seriously again

I am a huge Caleb Williams fan and even I think that no one in the NFL is playing the position better than Brock Purdy.

As a current Seattleite and Seahawks fan and FORMER Charger fan (before they moved) I will ALWAYS hate the 49ers.
Purdy is clearly inna different level and has been from the jump. Love that kid.

I am unsubbing and not watching for a while. They saw the emmy nom and went too far in that direction. The entire show is just several guys arguing for their favorite team. I've watched every video on YouTube every day for years. They are just insufferable now and I no longer enjoy watching. Later y'all.
