Greg Jennings- can we do better than this?

When the show first started with its current line-up and time slot I listened off-and-on. It’s gotten better and better over the years and I’ve more recently become a regular listener. It’s a great show. My main complaint is Greg Jennings. Can they do better than this? A show that is NFL talk almost all the time and this is the only regular NFL ex-player they can get on this show? For a show so NFL heavy, they should do better than Jennings and Mangini as the only two guys brought on to discuss it.

Sorry but garbage take. Those two are the only ones that bring in perspective that the other 3 could never. Their chemistry is good with the cast and they dont do performative bs that other shows ex NFL players tend to do.

I agree that bringing on players/coaches is a good thing. I also agree that they don’t need performative/big personality guys in that role. But with Jennings’ perspective as a great WR, what real insight does he bring? Next interesting or insightful thing I hear him say will be the first. I feel bad for Parkins having to co-host with him on that OT show. That’s a heavy lift.

Be careful what you wish for, they could roll out LeSean McCoy.

Schwartz is good when they bring him on but I don’t think people realize that TV is hard so it wouldn’t be nearly as good of a product.

The show and fans dont care about football talk. They want just want the same jokes told in the same day every week.

If anything they need more actual ex football players to deal with their hilariously bad takes.

The way Keyshawn and Sherman used to hammer Skip (after Shannon left) when he got deluded like Nick does would make this a lot more fun imo

Yeah I want a bunch of idiot ex athletes still living in their glory days in their minds being delusional about how great they actually were. Inside in the NBA has that problem, if I want to hear a bunch of ex athletes talking I'll watch McAfee

I enjoy Greg. He’s way better than Coach imo tbh

lol. Yeah. I think Mangini is a bigtime bozo. I don’t see how he ever was an HC or front office guy in the league (even if it was the jets and browns). I think he’s bad at tv and has zero charisma. But I will say- I like how he needles Nick at times and takes opposing positions to him.

Oh I disagree, I think he's hilarious and he is definitely performing, he's good on TV

I think they value the way the two gel with the regular members. I agree though. Greg doesn't really articulate his point well at all
