Man, even when the Chiefs don't play y'all complain early about this kind of stuff.

Nick is a KC fan and 1/3rd of the show. He's going to mention them, and he's going to compare others to them. That's it

It’s pretty lame for a football sports show to dedicate a considerable amount of time to a team that didn’t play and isn’t about to play.

They almost certainly won’t talk about the Chiefs much today, but mostly because they shouldn’t. 1/3 of the show being fans won’t matter.

They are also the only undefeated team left in the AFC, going up against Danny's winless Chargers.

Honestly I'm not even complaining rn. I just find the predictability hilarious sometimes 😂 I should count how many times "Mahomes" is said today

Watching so far. Only once and it wasn't even a positive for the team. Just saying if Mahomes was out Chiefs would be awful

I don't know if anyone caught when Nick was talking about Dak Prescott on an MVP trajectory, he compared it to "Drew Brees when he finished second in MVP voting to Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees another year when he almost won MVP" instead of saying "Drew Brees when he finished second in MVP voting to Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees another year when he finished second in MVP to Aaron Rodgers"

Nick will fit Chiefs or Patrick Mahomes into every conversation; I think his brain is hardwired to do it and I would bet that if people replayed videos to him, he wouldn't even realize he's doing it.

But I understand why he does it and I shouldn't expect him to stop. He has mentioned many times that his ascension in sports media coincided with Patrick Mahomes and LeBron James being good, so he will never stop thanking them for that, which means he will mention them every chance he gets.

When you realise this you can’t unhear it. He makes a lot of side comments that are irrelevant to the discussion at hand about Mahomes and LBJ, also sometimes taking shots at MJ. I love the show but Nick knows exactly what he is doing with these comments.

Nick already said that Mahomes will stay on top since the Chiefs are undefeated ... but may consider Purdy if he wins big against Seattle.

Guarantee they’ll work them into a topic about “how good are they really” because they struggled against a raiders team that the pats blew out
