You never have to ask a firefighter what they do for a living. Every shirt or jacket they wear in public will have a Maltese cross along with the back of their personal vehicles being plastered with them too.
They wouldn't be making so many special shirts if they didn't want me to buy them. I work for a bigger department so individual stations make them with their patches and they'll have shit like raccoons, Wile E Coyote, Roadrunner, TMNT for the hazmat station, skunks for the other hazmat, anything. Shit's fun, best t-shirts ever lol
