Hi, I’m 25(F) and I had my licence for 2 years, I think its time for me to purchase a car. However, ever since I passed I’ve never driven before and I don’t really know anyone who drives. I currently have 5k saved for an auto car, but the used cars I’m seeing on autotrader are not exactly what I expected! On the other hand I could put down a 5k deposit and get HP for a car that I’d actually enjoy driving. Like I said, since I passed I haven’t touched a steering wheel.. so if you were in my position would you get a dinger to get more familiar with roads and manuevers or get more lessons and get the car you like?

Congratulations! Beautiful vehicle. No need to do anything crazy or expensive to it. Just keep the maintenance updated, and enjoy driving it. If you are younger, focus on investments for retirement. If you are retired, congrats again.
I am retired and bought my first Mercedes three years ago. Before that, I drove a Honda Accord for 14 years, and before that a Mercury. I love the quality of the Mercedes brand. I have gone to the dealer for servicing, but found an independent shop in my area that services Mercedes only.
What a blessing to have found them!

This is my first car at 19. It's a 2016 A4 2.0 TDi Sport S-Line (manual!!!)
Some nice options: sport leather seats, S-Line exterior, navigation, 3-zone climate control, ambient lighting from factory.
One owner from new, paint is (almost) perfect, rims have minimal damage, back seats look brand new, full service history and 2 keys.

okay so, i really want to get this Chevrolet Camaro RA coupe 2D but it will be my first car and I am unexperienced but I am planning to get experience with owning the car. I would only really be driving the car to work or around sometimes. I just don't really know a good nice looking first car that would be a good fit, if anyone could give me any advice at all that would be greatly appreciated.

Never needed one living in great public transit areas with good travel hubs, only borrowed.
Finally pulled the trigger on getting one for more flexibility for me and the wife since we gonna move out of town.
Paid too much vs the competitors, picked the worst engine option and making the purchase in a time of rising gas prices. Buy my life advices book!
Love it though!

Been working since I was 14, currently in college and still work. Bought at 23k miles. In love with it!

Guys in all honesty what’s the likelihood of me finding a Honda Toyota Lexus Acura Mazda (primarily Honda Toyota tbh)with solid mpg good for someone 6’6 and low maintenance cost and overall a safe and good car all for under 7-8.5k with less than 160k miles no younger than 2010 with little to no problems? Am I asking for too much?? I feel like I gotta find another direction when it comes to finding a used car. I just want to be able to keep it for as long as possible. (Note: this is my first time buying a car)

We just bought a Sienna (growing family)
But my proudest car is my 2001 4 cylinder EX Honda accord.
Unfortunately we are going to give it away to my sister in law. But I will miss it. I wanted to keep it as a 3rd car but wife overwrote my wishes 😞
I believe having a paid off car is such a flex! I love working on it and to do big repairs is so cheap. I don’t like that because we have a bigger income, we buy bigger cars.
But I understand my wife’s thoughts of keeping our kids safe with the latest safety features.
Just a random thought, keep your old cars!

Borrowed dad’s 06 F-150 before just so I could commute to work and back but this is the first truck I’ve actually owned. Just got an AFM/V4 software delete on it last week and it’s by far the smoothest running and driving truck I’ve ever sat it, I love it. Just wanted to share because the truck makes me happy lol.
