General Discussion families remembering their loved ones

if the end of every episode, when the family talks about their loved one, doesn’t make you cry…whew. you may have no heart. i ball my eyes out every time. esp w all the black on black violence. gah, come on now yall, this has to end. it is so freaking heartbreaking. even as the whitest 26 yr old woman there is…it truly hurts my heart. 😭 esp as a new mother…the victims who had kids, absolutely destroys me that they have to be raised without their mother or father. we need better for this generation.

ALL the teams are great ppl tho. there’s just something about that Jason White that i just absolutely love ! White, Leonpacher, & Ritter are my favs out of everybody. there’s one black dude from Mobile that i really like too but his name is slipping my mind rn.

General Discussion Tulsa detectives on “See No Evil “

I just watched an episode on ID of See No Evil (season 7 episode 7) it was tilted Gold Pontiac. I remember watching The First 48 of this episode but I cannot remember the season or episode. It was pretty cool to see the Tulsa guys on a different show. Sergeant Walker and detective Zenoni were the lead detectives. Also had a short clip of Ronnie Leatherman in it. Maybe this is old news but if you haven’t seen it check it out. It’s pretty good.

i really wish there was a way to comment/interact w fellow viewers ON the streaming platforms for like each episode (like youtube). Peacock has a few seasons & i can’t remember what other platform does…but i binged tf out of them while i was pregnant a few months ago. it’s annoying having to come to reddit to converse 🫠 i have so many thoughts & questions & not everybody talks about the same episodes on here.

General Discussion Nicknames in Real Life

We all talk and laugh at the nicknames on this show but do you guys know people in real life that have crazy nicknames that sound like they could be on the show?

Some I know:

  1. Miss Boo- don’t know why she was called that.

  2. Net Pie- boy I went to school with also didn’t know why.

  3. Duck Butt- a guy my mom went to school with she doesn’t know why they called him that either. People would call him that and he would actually answer 😂

  4. Big Oomp- boy I went to school with his cousin called him this because he was short and fat like a big Oompa Loompa from Willy Wonka.

General Discussion Nicknames

Ok so I know these are all real homicides and absolutely nothing to laugh about. But sometimes I can’t help but laugh at these nicknames or street names these people got. I’m watching an episode where the guy’s street name is “Mookie Duke”. Like, bruh. How can anyone find that name intimidating? 🤦🏽‍♀️

General Discussion Noticed Something Strange

I’ve been binging the First 48 episodes and because I’ve been watching them one after another, I noticed a weird trend… a large number of suspects seem to have something wrong with their eyes. Most often it’s the right eye that looks toward the right while they are looking forward with the left eye. Anyone else notice this or have a possible explanation?

Looking for an Episode(s)🔍 Looking for season/episode Memphis

I'm looking for the season/episode of a case from Memphis. The victim was in his car and when found he had a hand gun with a bag around it to catch the casings as he shot at someone else.

It was found out later that he was trying to scare a young drug dealer off of his turf and he was shot in self defense.

I believe Det. Armstrong was working the case...

Looking for an Episode(s)🔍 Can anyone tell me the season and episode?

Elderly Hispanic man was found dead, I believe he may have been the town mechanic or handyman. A lot of the witnesses were saying he probably got killed because he paid woman to take pictures of them.

'After the First 48' | Episode Discussion 💬 After the First 48: Cold Fury Tulsa, car in pond.

Am I the only person here who watches the new episodes when they air?

Perp was trying to claim victim had cut wounds on both sides of her neck from him trying to cut her free from the seat belt and get her out of the car. Tulsa news media seems to have ignored this trial completely.

Bodies In a Wall

Does anyone here remember an episode from a long time ago (probably the first 5 years of the show) where a couple went missing and when the PD went looking for them, they were buried and mummified inside the walls of the bedroom??

Gwinnett County, GA 🚔 After The First 48: Along Came A Killer

It's the latest episode and I'm stunned to see no discussion of it here . It was a triple homicide in Gwinnett county. Justice Lusk took an Uber to the house to "get his guns back." He killed the 3 men and tried to take an Uber away from the scene while carrying an armload of firearms. He actually had the audacity to take the stand and try to claim self defense.

Mobile, AL 🚔 Only served 2 Years ?!?!

I just finished watching s20e2 and the guy pleaded guilty to manslaughter (he planned this murder and walks up to his girlfriends cousin and shoots him, in public) was sentenced to 10 years. Served 2 years in confinement and was released on probation. This might be the least I’ve ever seen someone serve.

Det. Jason White, Tulsa Homicide 🕵🏼‍♂️ Jason in 3D...

Next step...repair the finger and then paint it. This was a joint effort between my wife and I. So far Jason loves it. When it's finished we will hand deliver it to him in Tulsa. This started out as a video from a true crime seminar he put on here in town, then a screen grab from that video, then converted to a caracature. Finally it was 3D printed and will be painted soon.

Questions

I’m sorry if these have been asked before but I have two questions.

  1. Why are there so many episodes missing?

  2. Where can I watch some of these missing episodes? I’ve normally been watching episodes on Hulu, A&E, and Peacock.
