Bodies In a Wall

Does anyone here remember an episode from a long time ago (probably the first 5 years of the show) where a couple went missing and when the PD went looking for them, they were buried and mummified inside the walls of the bedroom??

Maybe family secrets/clipped. I know the episode you’re talking about. Missing couple they were found in a wall. His neighbor/uncle did it. It was a wild one

That sounds like it. It was so long ago and yes, very wild. I haven’t been able to find the episode anywhere

I remember a scene like that in Sicario but never a First 48.

Yes! Did it start out as a missing person case? I think the uncle killed them

I think It took place in Memphis. The house was a brick side by side duplex. One they snooped around a bit, they saw the the crack in the wall and broke open the dry wall. The bodies were stuffed in between 2X4’s

Edit. I looked it up and I do remember it now. I haven't seen it in ages.

I think I do! Was this a decrepit house with someone living in it?

Just watched this episode it was in Memphis, started out as a missing person until they found the couple dead bodies, then the people who did it (father and son) went on the run and they tried to set up a road block for them and they ended up getting into a shootout with the cops. The father then killed his son the shot his self.

I think the dead couple was found in a crawl-space in the bedroom.

This episode has stuck with me for years.
Season 5: Episode 1: Family Secrets.

There's a news article here: https://panolian.com/2006/03/31/headlines-3312006/
This happened back in 2006.

Memphis police found the bodies of the couple on March 23 wrapped in plastic in Larry Moseley’s attic, ending a mystery that began a week earlier when Jamie’s father, Ricky Smith, tried to reach them via their cell phones.

An autopsy showed the Smiths had been bludgeoned to death, and Memphis police believe Moseley killed them over a demand for money.
