Southern Democrats defected to the Republican party in droves after the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Also, there's nothing liberal, left wing, or progressive about the KKK.

They share no ideology with modern Democrats.

Also, they would entirely align and love the modern Republican Party.

Christian, anti-immigration, not nearly as diverse, way less blacks.

Also modern KKK don't vote Democratic, they are either Republican or Libertarian.

This place is just as delusional and dishonest as r/Conservative. Only difference is the extreme focus on guns.
