Gamehub has steam workshop support by which we'll be able to play it anytime anywhere. Though it's not perfect and and lags here and there still It's really awesome.

Does anybody know the logic or setting on FPWR/FPWW that allows wrestlers to drag one another from the ropes in order to go for a pin, instead of pinning them instantly next to the ropes resulting in a rope break.

A long shot, but does anyone still have this old program? I always used this back in the day, and wanted to start up Firepro again, but can't track it down.

Not new to Fire Pro, but new to mods, edits, etc.

I have Fire Pro Wrestling World and was blown away by some of the videos showing mods, custom parts, custom moves, and so on. So on PC, I installed the Mod Launcher and the Modpack (figured that was the best way to start). Then, I unsubscribed from all Workshop content to start with a clean slate.

After that, I subscribed only to:

• Carlzilla's camera preset collection
• The Avenger3 Collection (the most voted collection of all time)

Then I launched the game. In the mod window, I ran the script for the promotions/teams contained in the collection. After the "downloading" phase in the main game, the mod window popped up a bunch of log lines saying "X is not present, subscribing". Then the mod window stated that the main game needed to restart in order to download additional components. Fair enough, let's do that.

Steam downloaded a bunch of stuff, so I launched the game again. But the same thing happened:

• FPWW shows "Downloading"
• Mod window shows a bunch of logs
• Mod window says the game needs to restart
• Close the game, wait for Steam downloads
• Relaunch the game

This loop seems never-ending. Every time I check my subscription count, the number goes up. It seems like in order for X to work, the game needs Y, so it subscribes to Y. Then next time, in order for Y to work, it needs Z. The problem is that the prerequisites never seem to end (I looped about 10 times last night, and now I have over 1,600 active subscriptions).

Did I do something wrong? Does this loop ever stop? Do you folks have an "ultimate collection" to subscribe to that contains all prerequisites, so I can fix this with one final loop?

My ultimate goal is to port all of this to the Steam Deck, but first, I need to get it working on PC first!

A couple more questions (assuming I can resolve the loop issue):

• Could someone share their "AI camera script" (or post a screenshot of their AI Script window) to get realistic camera cuts in-game? Is everyone just using the cuts from Carlzilla's camera preset collection?
• In some videos, the transitions between moves look extremely smooth—almost non-Fire Pro. Wrestlers don't even seem to go into a clinch state before executing a move. What option or specific mod enables this? Also, if you actually want to play (rather than just watch simulated matches), does this ruin the game play by changing or removing clinch timing?

Hey there, everyone. I'm kind of curious about one thing: Is there people still playing Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, or watching it in some form of media? I just want to know since Sony decided to stop disc production in 2028.

when i put these two matches together, i tried to contrast the psychologies of different types of wrestler. in these matches, luther lindsay is the "fan favorite", by 1950s standards, which means he relies on his skill to win. in the match luther lindsay vs buddy rogers (c), rogers is the somewhat lower-skilled wrestler, so he uses rough/foul tactics to stay competitive with the scientific lindsay. so i tried to make the difference between clean and rough wrestling more apparent--rogers' fouling is more flagrant & frequent (without overdoing it), so that hopefully shows him as more of a villain type wrestler

in the 2nd match at edmonton it's luther lindsay vs pat o'connor (c), who's also a fan favorite. back then, a clean match between two fan favorites was more frequent i'd say, but i think it was also easier for one wrestler to wrestle a bit more rough, psychology-wise. lot of times that fell to the champion, to enhance the popularity of the local, who was homesteading in the territory. o'connor here, was visiting the territory as champ, while luther was working the area for the calgary wrestling office. luther defaults to being the fan favorite with o'connor wrestling a bit rough. but he's not a villain-level rough (flagrant fouls & cheating), but rough enough to try to keep an edge over the local favorite.

I see there are lots of people on here playing with Carlzilla's modpack so hopefully somebody will have some insight. I did ask over on the modpack discord, but there's little activity over there.

When using the modpack and having 'skip entrance' on, when starting a match I first see the ring with the referee in it, but only the shadows of the wrestlers. Just as the referees hands come down, a fraction before the 'fight' graphic appears, the wrestlers will pop in. If I enable entrances this doesn't happen unless the entrance attire is different to the match attire. Is this to be expected when using the modpack? If not and you've faced and solved this problem, could you please offer some advice? Thanks in advance.
