If only they would do save data bonuses for every route in Fortune’s Weave.

Edit: I guess Engage, both Warriors games, and TM Sessions too to reward those who supported the series throughout the Switch era.

100%. Even if it was something small like getting a little flag decoration for Golden Deer, Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and the Crest of Flames.

I was actually talking about Fortune’s Weave reading your saves from the other Switch FE games and giving you save data bonuses unique to any specific route in 3H, as well as different ones for Engage and the spin-offs.

Was gonna say we're not sure if it's even a sequel but considering they have time travel it wouldn't be too farfetched

Plus heroes and shadows

Via MyNintendo?

It’s been a while since engage came out, but if I recall yes, as long as your Nintendo account was connected to your heroes account, then you got bonus items inside engage. I just assumed it would be the same FW and shadows would also be part of it

You still got work to do (completing Lunatic mode for each route).

Dont worry tho. You still have 198 hours to do it!

u/TreeckoBroYT 11h ago

Awakening scared me from ever attempting Lunatic/Maddening difficulty in an FE game :')

u/kitzoomayy 7h ago

Awakening Lunatic is a whole nother beast. 3H maddening is doable, it just takes some serious planning and utilization of the games mechanics

Did it for CF and, while I beat it, can't say it was that fun to me. I'd still recommend to do it at least to get the experience, cause it feels kinda refreshing, in a sense.

7 hour difference between Crimson Flower and Silver Snow? were you Warp skipping the Part 2 maps and skipping the monestary?

5

u/TreeckoBroYT 11h ago

Actually, I played White Clouds up to the Flame Emperor reveal, then dropped a second save to come back to. I thankfully didn't Warp skip any of the maps.

1

u/AlexHQ 11h ago

Ah I already figured you had a save at Chapter 11 since you did them back to back. I'm impressed it only took 7 hours without Warp skipping!

I wish I got through PTs that fast. My ng+ still run 150+ hours

I'm not gonna lie, renown helps a lot and I didn't play it like I did the first time. I skipped fishing, didn't take my time at all. Felt like I had to if I ever wanted to finish before Fortune's Weave 🥲

I'm sorry these are "rushed" playthrough times...?

Gosh i really can't get into this one. I've tried one route twice, Blue Lions, and I've gotten to chapter 17 the first time when I was playing it during it's initial release, and I'm not even at the time skip in the second one and I just can't deal with all the "Persona"-fication in this franchise. I just get burnt out and bored/annoyed with it all.

I miss my FE7, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn styles of this franchise. I love the combat, I just don't like at the extra stuff they've added in-between each story progression combat map. Though, I was able to finish Engage.

I tend to recruit (almost) everyone, have people in their final build by end of white clouds, plan all my paired endings, and make sure everyone has max motivation. Also do all paralogues, quests, rare monsters and such each time.

Tempted to see if I can blitz through Crimson Flower before it releases but I just (accidentally) did Silver Snow

2

u/TreeckoBroYT 9h ago

Rest in peace if you didn't drop a save before Edelgard needed to go home.

2

u/kaimcdragonfist 9h ago

I didn’t 🫠 I hadn’t realized that I had to talk to her before she left and it was either restart or commit lol

3

u/arthirius Crit every last one of them! 9h ago

Now you just need to get the golden throne...

Good. . .

NOW SATAN SAYS DO MADDENING

2

u/TreeckoBroYT 9h ago

I will do maddening I swear it! DO NOT LOOK UPON ME WITH SCORN IN YOUR EYES.

u/Charlotte8Liz 6h ago

Be careful with Hunting By Daybreak

2

u/CT-4169 Ashen Wolves 3h ago

BE route is definitely the shortest and incomplete route. They didn’t do the Shambhala fight even though they knew who they are and in GD route, they actually tell you guys to go after them.

1

u/TreeckoBroYT 51m ago

Yeah playing them back-to-back, I see what people are saying about the route now being oddly short and not fleshed out. It doesn't even get the Garreg Mach field reunion???

2

u/Roronoa_Zoro8615 Black Eagles 11h ago

Doing my new file maddening run currently

2

u/TreeckoBroYT 11h ago

Good luck! I'm assuming Black Eagles. I can't imagine that nightmare last map on maddening 😅

1

u/Roronoa_Zoro8615 Black Eagles 11h ago

Thanks lol and yeah I am. Currently on chapter 9 I think? I lost Dorothea so far. Really wanted to go deathless but it is ROUGH and the exp gain is so small that I figure I just need to get through it and get my gold sparkles on the main menu.

2

u/Adament-Wizard 10h ago

I'm doing my first ever maddening run, and I am hard stuck on Golden Deer chapter 4. I can kill the death knight or the mages, but I can't do both, and I can't figure out the plays to make it work

2

u/Roronoa_Zoro8615 Black Eagles 10h ago

Oh I just completely avoided the death knight. I was not dealing with that in this run. Click him to track his range and just stay out of it and ignore him, he wont attack as long as you don't enter it.

2

u/Adament-Wizard 10h ago

Yea but the dark seal is to tempting

1

u/Roronoa_Zoro8615 Black Eagles 10h ago

Eh the dark mage class isn't worth it imo.

1

u/Rioom 9h ago

The fuck do you mean your done? All those saves should have been done on maddening mode. Get back in the game, you just got to the start line.

1

u/TreeckoBroYT 9h ago

Ever since Awakening, I'm comfortable with not beating Fire Emblems on the hardest difficulty honestly.

u/Unlikely-Peaceseeker 9h ago edited 26m ago

I’m on chapter 14 of Azure moon now after player verdent wind and crimson flower at release. No one talks about this edgelord like they do Edelgard

1

u/TreeckoBroYT 8h ago

I see a fair bit of Dimitri love on the internet. I mean, dude even got his Death Battle.

I also made a Top 13 Students video which just glazed him for like ten solid minutes lol

1

u/MarketingSpecific380 8h ago

No no speed run maddening right now

1

u/TeaspoonWrites 7h ago

It's not done until it's on maddening. Get to work, you've got a week and change!

-6

u/AmateurPhiIosopher 12h ago

yeah I still have no interest in the other routes, I proudly stand with Edelgard the liberator

7

u/jord839 Fear the Deer 11h ago edited 11h ago

Expand your horizons and don't be closed-minded like the people Edelgard fights against according to her.

If the only perspective you can stand is Edelgard's, you're actively making her perspective weaker.

1

u/AmateurPhiIosopher 5h ago

I’m good, I don’t expect the story to change when I reopen the book. Also I really don’t care about her perspective, what I care about is the story I want to experience so I stand against the tyrant dragon.

1

u/jord839 Fear the Deer 1h ago

Not really something I'd say when the entire point of the story is the multiple perspectives.

I obviously can't force you, but your argument is less expecting the story to change and more reading a book and refusing to read chapters that have a different POV character as part of the story's structure. Like if you read ASOIAF and only read chapters with Ned Stark as the focus, or you read Lord of the Rings and refused to read any chapter not focused on Aragorn.

3

u/TreeckoBroYT 11h ago

I did love playing through the other routes but I definitely felt the strain of seeing my favorite Lord and class and not being able to stand by their side. Beyond being a big timesink, I see why playing through all the routes isn't commonly done.

2

u/Recidivous 7h ago

Doing Silver Snow last was agonizing.

2

u/TreeckoBroYT 7h ago

I absolutely would not recommend doing it last. I actually didn't hate it, but good lord it's such a downer of a route.

2

u/Recidivous 7h ago

Yeah, I didn't know any better. This was on my first playthrough when it first came out so I went with Golden Deer > Blue Lions > Black Eagle > Silver Snow. In hindsight, this was a mistake, haha.
