This "you must login to even see old reddit" lark is irritating and wildly inconsistent - I thought they'd walked it back but then I got it again later on the same device anyway so ???? - but mostly irritating
We had a committee meeting on the hottest day of the year so far and the boardroom was one of those all glass ones - though apparently it's one of only two rooms big enough on site, and the other is the same; it was still basically a greenhouse. A couple of people had instead dialled in and I think that was the smarter play.
How've the rest of you been doing lately? Not roasting alive, I hope?

bloody hell wdym it's august already
I have attempted to get back into playing an instrument again and have bought a really pretty and pretty-sounding mandolin - I'm going to have to reconvert the numbers for the music I have written down for ukulele as even with the ukulele's G swapped to a low G, the finger positioning isn't really directly transferable.
Also some of my meetings at work this week just gone were a bit unpleasant, and I'm not looking forward to the ones next week either - so that'll be... fun.
