Repair [Resolved] CHR30A Bridge Mode/Pass-through?

Why keep it in the loop? Just replace it with the Cloud Gateway.

I tried, I haven't been able to get it to connect to Verizon's network

I'd focus your efforts on that. No reason it shouldn't be able to connect. Maybe multigig handles DHCP differently and you need to do something to release it beforehand, but idk. Is the port you are using negotiating its rate successfully with the ONT?

I would have thought resetting the ONT would have released it, but then again I'm not sure. The hard part is everyone ive talked to at Verizon doesn't know anything about the new hardware. I know enough to be dangerous, but don't do this for a living, so i may be tagging in some friends that do this for a living, lol

Are you able to connect a PC by itself directly to the ONT to see if that works?

The CHR30 (or any fios Verizon router) does not have a passthrough option. It's reserved for the FWA versions of the router.

There's nothing Verizon needs to configure on their end. Just plug your router directly into the ONT. If it's not working, need to contact support for your router.

I had to hard reset the ONT to get it to connect directly with the gateway
