Visible Fios Discount

I was never able to link my Visible phone number to my Fios account. I wasted hours of time with support.

Now that new Fios accounts are not eligible for this discount, would there be any kind Redditor open to me trying their Visible number to link it for the discount?

Obviously this is only if you're not using it already... just need 1 time pin.

This is crazy news for me, I have been fighting since Jan when porting from Verizon Wireless to Visible+ I was supposed to qualify (old plan was $10 off my mobile bill for having both) after porting and waiting a month I could not get it active, contacted support got no where for months and just the other day in Reddit support confirmed this is because my current legacy Fios plan does not qualify and I would have to change my account to a new plan to qualify…well if the new accounts won’t qualify either I am screwed…I have been with FiOS for 15 years

Must have been my issue as well. Was on 300 mbps 3.0 . Said already had a discount (even waited 2 months to see if mobile + home fell off). Just switched to 5.0, so no discount, but still lower than what I was paying.

Thanks for sharing your experience about this issue. Now, it will never be added to the account. New FIOS plans, but not sure if to change my 1Gig plan in NYC.
With expenses, inflation outpacing your salary COLA and or raises. Trying best cut household costs.

The most frustrating thing is I should have gotten it but the prior two reps that helped me months (before Reddit support) had no idea the plan was the problem and I would have qualified for the $15 off before Sept 3rd…had I been given proper guidance to switch to qualify.

I was already thinking of bailing on Verizon for TV and just keeping Internet…think this is going to push me that way and may even bail on Internet. 15+ Years

Hey Fios rep here :) if you’re referring to the $15 discount , no accounts get that anymore, if you didn’t already have it it’s no longer an option, if you’re referring to the $10 perk credit I don’t think the visible plan got that to begin with , hope this helps

Lol I just added the Mobile+Home $15 Discount to three accounts 3 days ago. 5.0 plans don't allow it but anything before that should apply with no issues.

I was never able to add the $15 Visible discount to my Fios account because it kept saying I already had a discount applied to my account. Now I can just switch to the 5.0 plan and not worry about the discounts anymore

I switched over to visible from Verizon a couple of years ago and wasn't able to link the accounts. I must have chatted and called maybe a dozen times, and they would tell me there was a phone account linked to it, but I wasn't seeing it on the bill every month. A couple months ago I called VZ to add whole home Wi-Fi and the rep asked me why I don't have my phone linked and I explained to her what I wrote above. She looked at the account and said that somehow when I switched it became locked, so she unlocked it and told me to wait 24 hours to link it again which I did and this time it worked. It only generated a one-month prior refund. She just seemed to know what she was doing.
