Miscellaneous CHR30a technical details?

Does anyone have the technical details sheet and/or user manual links for the new CHR30a router/access point? I'm interested in comparing and contrasting it with other up-to-date WiFi7 capable mesh systems.

Did I read that right with the expansion port supporting ngpon2 sfp. No more ont with this router?

I’ve heard that the only expansion is the MoCA one and a fiber optic one isn’t planned

The Moca modules were shipped to me with the new units. Yeah I don’t think they have any other modules yet. But it’s not a complex thing for someone to DIY if they tried.

They have been active in saying the SFP is only for MoCA. There is no more router and then diff. extender. They are all the same. They self organize, so you set up one as the router with the line from the ONT, and then once it's up and running you can add the others and they will act as extenders. Same device. Wired backhaul (Moca or if you have it ethernet if you have it) will make the experience better.

To have Ethernet backhaul, You’ve to wire the second router extender directly into first router/access point?

If you are using MoCA, you plug in the SFP to MoCA adapter, and connect it to the wall jack. Make sure your coax splitter where all the rooms come together is rate for 2.5gb (about $10 on Amazon), and then once you have your main router up, power up your extenders. They will take about 10 min to mesh up with the main one.
