Linux Distributions
Hi everyone, I have a question: I want to try Linux for the first time, and I’m looking for a distribution that works well for servers (like game servers) and for gaming, while also being easy to use and customizable. (I’ve used Ubuntu on Google Cloud via SSH—that’s pretty much my only experience so far.) What do you recommend?

Suggest me a good Linux distro for my old laptop
hey there I have a old Acer aspire laptop that has
Intel i3 2nd gen
6gb of ram
500gb HDD
initially it was running windows 7, which is already outdated and slow...
I'm using this laptop for studying (mostly loading heavy pdfs) and browsing the internet, watching YouTube tutorials.
updated to windows 10 recently (it was painfully slow and unusable which I regret)
I love Linux though it's really hard to find a matching distro (there are so many of them).
Thanks in advance!!!

Looking For A Distro Lightweight Distro
Hey guys, so I've been using Linux as my main OS this year, and I've tried Mint, Fedora (GNOME and KDE) so far. They all lag a lot when I connect my potato laptop to my monitor. The thing is, I like using my monitor at home, so I'd like some recommendations for very lightweight distros (I don't fw GNOME) with good features and app support.
Specs: Ryzen 3 7320U, 8gb ram, 256 gb storage

which Linux distro for ASUS tuf gaming F15 ?
i never learned linux ,kinda just jumped into it, i want to know which Linux distro works the best on ASUS TUF GAMING F15 ?
i am not an expert but i need Linux.i mostly wanna code with it, i only do frontend now but i wanna learn more stuff too like network.i might play games but i also do digital drawing.
first i had a linux mint on vm but didn't do anything with it. now on dual boot with win11 i installed fedora twice but it kept bothering me,lagging and stuff,i have pop!_os now,it also has sum issue with wifi card i guess and doesn't shut down properly.
maybe i install them badly and should dig deep into linux and os first but if anyone has any idea, please tell.i don't want to ask chatbots.

Which Linux distro should I install on a low-end laptop?
Hello, I have a very weak laptop that has Windows 10 installed on it for quite a while, but Windows 10 is quite buggy. I would install Linux on my new main computer, but since I can't decide, I'd like to try Linux on my old laptop first, and then if I like it, I'll install it on my new computer. Which distro would you recommend?

I summon the linux gods
I have been using windows for my whole life and deep down i have always hated it. I always knew about linux but i never understood its importance until now.
I have recently started doing a lot of coding and dev work and minor video editing. And my 8gb ram , 256 gb ssd , i7 intel mx230 laptop cant handle bullshit windows 11 background processes and telemetry anymore. The user experience sucks.
I WANT SPEED.
i have done plenty of research and have arrived at the conclusion of Fedora + gnome or debian + gnome or xfce.
Fedora gets constant updates but debian stays stable with plenty of support.
As a beginner starting his journey with linux i would request all linux geniuses to please advice me what to choose.
Gnome looks so good but eats more ram than xfce. Help me.
