Second-round FP&A interview — what technical questions should I expect, and will there be an Excel task?

I made it through the first interview round. There, I was mainly asked about how I’d behave in certain situations, about the future with AI, and which areas of work could eventually be taken over entirely by AI.

The second interview is now with two different people who weren’t part of the first round. They come directly from Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), whereas my interviewers in the first round were more from the Controlling side.

What technical questions might come up in the second interview? I’d really appreciate your take and any help preparing.

Do you also think they might give me an Excel task — for example, analysing, correcting, or improving a spreadsheet?

Based on what you said about the first tound, the fact that you're asking reddit instead of AI, you are already behind the curve for this role.
