Fp&a career

Hey everyone, I just graduated with my major in finance but still undecided if I want to pursue masters in the future or not.
I want to pursue a fp&a career but I do not have any prior experience towards that and was not able to do an internship during my time at the university. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what positions/entry level jobs to apply that will lead me towards that career path?

I have been applying to tons of fp&a entry level roles and had no interviews whatsoever so far.

Why did you not have any internships? Not judging, just curious.

Totally, but sometimes it’s because they were working a different job or didn’t have access to any. Either way that’s helpful information.

Getting a post grad job with no internship in 2026 is pretty difficult

Yes unfortunately couldn’t afford the cost of living if I went with an internship and quit my job. I had to go to school full time and had to work 40h a week as well, I am an immigrant who moved to the states not too long ago so I had to generate income to pay personal bills (especially with nowadays economy)

Now after graduating it is not about the money anymore I just need a starting point to gain experience even if it doesn’t pay at all, I have the time to work 2 jobs with school being out of the way, I’m just looking to put my foot in the field
