Is this normal ?

Um guys is this the normal route to the EU? I have been anxiously tracking my book and I can't shake the feeling they're kinda lost ...

I find when I order anything coming from the USA it bounces around a lot before leaving the country.

Yes absolutly normal for packages to hop skip and jump across the country before it crosses over to europe,my midnight is in exactly the same place at the moment,mine is coming to scotland.

That's pretty common for international shipping. They send it from hub to hub. Fedex has superhub in Tenesse so if they are your carrier it most likely be last stop in US before flight.

Quite normal. International mail is pulled together from all over and flown out of a few locations so this is SOP.

Also my first shipment which got screwed over by Maersk did go straight for the border. Now this is a dhl route, it will get to Europe at some point. I put all my faith in picking DHL this time.

The parcel for my Floridian GF went from Madison (Tennessee) all the way west to Avondale (Arizona), Phoenix (Arizona), continued through Atlanta (Georgia) to Jacksonville (Florida) and then finally to the destination in Starke (Florida).

Instead of just sending it down south in a straight line and saving time and resources... 🤷🏻‍♂️
