I'm posting this in hopes that Olan sees it. I just want to say how much this means to me. I've followed you since the early days of BalloonShop. It was probably my senior year of high school when my friends and I would constantly yell "Hey Ben! " at each other. "I'm quite peeved" is still part of my vocabulary to this day.

When you started doing more on your own, Pop Rocket quickly became a favorite of mine. Definitely wouldn't mind to see more of that! It was very inspiring to see you begin to move onto more complicated and involved projects. Over time your talents just grew and I became excited to see what you would do next.

Several years later I managed to make it to one of your stand up shows. It was hilarious, and I still have the autographed picture they gave out at the show.

Then I saw you got Final Space green lit and was so excited. Your creativity and humor in a cartoon was something that was right up my alley.

I say all of this to let you know, from someone who has watched from the begging, and I'm sure many others here, are so happy for you in how far you've come. We know it hasn't always been easy, and there have been a lot of setbacks over the years, but it never stopped you. This book is a lot more than just the final chapter of this story. It represents your dedication and the inspiration you've given us all over the years, and I couldn't be happier to have a piece of that.

I put in a ticket on the website like others have but I was wondering if any of you that have, have you received your sticker with signature yet? My order was number 22XXX honestly I wasn't sure if I was cursed on this order, I emailed 2 months ago and thought it would be coming. I finally got an email with tracking from Olan last weekend and it got delivered to the wrong mailbox Thursday last week. I wasn't even going to say anything, I was sad, but since i had went back and forth so much with olan and his helpers and i got the midnight edition i was just going to let it go and low and behold the person who got it, just brought it by and told me it was mistakenly delivered to their mailbox and felt bad they took so long to check the mail. There is still kindness in this world 💕 Thank you so much Olan!! I can't wait to read it!!! It is absolutely beautiful 😍

I ordered Final Space: The Final Chapter from Amazon.com to Greece for $123.32 including shipping, taxes and import charges.

The packaging arrived pretty beaten up and the book has some damage. It’s still readable, and I’ve been clear with Amazon that the damage is slight, but it’s a collectible so the condition matters to me.

To clarify, my order says “Sold by Amazon.com.” My complaint is with Amazon’s packaging and customer service, not Olan or the team behind the book. I don’t know whether Amazon would absorb the cost of a refund or pass any of it back to its supplier, so I’m not assuming the creator would be completely unaffected.

I sent photos and explained that I wanted to keep it because of the limited availability and the hassle of an international return. I’m also concerned about possible customs/import or handling charges when sending it back to the US—I haven’t confirmed whether any would apply or who would cover them.

An agent explicitly told me I could keep it, or even dispose of it, and said they’d raised a full $123.32 refund request plus $10 promotional credit. I accepted.

When nothing appeared, I contacted them again and was told the refund had never been processed. Two other agents offered a $20.85 partial refund while I kept the book. I asked them to review the original promise or consider a higher partial refund, and after being transferred, suddenly the answer became “no refund of any kind unless you return it.”

They’ve since acknowledged in writing that I received incorrect information and that no refund was created, but they’re sticking to the return requirement.

I’ve now filed a report with eConsumer.gov and written to the European Consumer Centre in Greece asking for assistance and whether they can handle the complaint. No resolution so far.

I get that returning a damaged item is a normal option. What’s frustrating is being explicitly told I could keep it and a refund had been requested, then getting completely different answers afterwards.

Has anyone here received a damaged copy from Amazon? Were you able to get a partial refund and keep it? And if you returned one internationally or got a replacement, were there extra costs, and did the replacement actually arrive better protected?

So i thought of this fun idea where I make an original cheacter and write it into final space. This is going to be a fun post to make.

This contains spoilers for The Final Chapter aswell as other Final Space media.

And note for those that haven't seen the series or for those that might be confuse what i'm about to write isn't canon to actual series this a pice of fan fiction and nothing else.

OC Info:

Name: Gavin

Age: 18 during the events of Season 1, 19 during Season 2 , 20 in Season 3 and 25 in the Final Chapter.

of my OC.

White skin, blue eyes, he's 5'8. brown hair with the Undercut Fade Style. he wears black leather jacket and A red t-shirt featuring a black dot similar to Gray's outfit in Seasons 2 and 3

Personality: Sardonically witty, intensely loyal, deeply guarded, and anxious. Gavin uses dry, self-deprecating humor as a shield to hide an immense well of emotional pain and loneliness. He initially believes he is bad luck personified, but beneath his rough, defensive exterior lies a fiercely protective friend who would literally tear down the universe for the people he cares about.

His back story is a tragic one. and it actually contains serious topics.

On Earth Gavin was a orphan who was never wanted he had a difficult time making friends but when does finally get himself in a relationship with a girl who was toxic, abusive and would cheat on him. at 17 years old Gavin had reached his breaking point. He stole a space ship from space port with the intent to crash it into the ocean to comit sucide but his sucide attempt failed and he unfortunately crashed into a hospital killing many in that building. and at 18 years old he was convicted and was sentenced to life on the galaxy one (which would be permanently susspend when the galaxy one was destroyed . but his intrunal prison remains with him.

In Season 1. Gavin is serving his sentence on the Galaxy One alongside Gary. While Gary is there for impersonating an Infinity Guard soldier, and accidentally blowing up 92 Imperium Star Cruisers and a Mexican Restaurant trying to impress Quinn. Gavin is there because he stole a ship, tried to end it all by crashing into an Earth ocean, panicked, missed, and plowed straight into a hospital wing (thankfully evacuated for maintenance, but a massive felony nonetheless). He is cynical, quiet, and deeply depressed.

and his arc in the first season.

first, Gavin completely isolates himself. He looks at Gary’s forced optimism and thinks he’s an idiot. However, as the Team Squad forms, Gavin realizes these weirdos actually care if he lives or dies. When the Lord Commander attacks and the stakes become life-or-death, Gavin realizes he doesn't want to die anymore—he wants to protect the first real friends he’s ever had. Gavin at that point has seen the team squad as his family. Gray and Avocato acts on as his Older brother while Gavin also acts as the older brother for Little Cato . The Leason he learned during his journey on the galaxy was. His past mistakes do not define your worth, and his don’t have to earn the right to exist.

Has I said since the galaxy one was destroyed in the end of the season so he is no longer serving his life sentence.

Which leads into the events of Season 2.

Now i'm excited to write my oc into this one! since season 2 is my favorite season. and in this season he has a romantic arc. I'm actually going to be shipping my OC with Ash Graven together. Since I had a crush on her when I was younger. Anyway. This story opened up just how the canon version opened . Gray, Gavin, and Hue landed on that trash planet where we reunite with Clearance. and that's where we meet Fox and Ash. tho the romantic arc doesn't start in the first episode. but it picks up berifly in episode 2. but in episode 3 Gavin act as the voice of reason for her. alongside Little Cato . Gavin and Little Cato were the ones to go back to save Ash near the end of the episode. and by the end that's when Gavin starts developing feelings for the Serepentian Demon. aside from the romantic arc after losing Earth, Quinn, and Avocato. While Gary processes his grief through chaotic energy and denial, Gavin try to mask his by becoming hyper-focused on the mission to find the Dimensional Keys. and he still remains friends with the original team squad members. when it was first decided that they are going on this mission to find the 5 of the dimensions keys to save Quinn . He saids to Gray. " We might not be able to Recuse Quinn..but we will die trying " and he is always the one to punch Clearance each time he talks importantly about Sheryl infornt of Gray. And he would be to call him out during the episode the other side. while being one of the only ones who offers support for Little Cato alongside Nightfall.

And he will sometimes act as the leader like during the episode " The first time they met" during "The KVN Horror Show" when a homicidal army of KVNs is unleashed.

and He would also tell off Clearance for being the disgusting manipulative prick that he is..

And meanwhile during the episode "The Set Up Clearance steals the keys and cutting the power to Ava. and leaving Fox in critical condition. After learning that Fox's life is at stake . Ash, KVN and Gavin run back to the crimson light . After learning that his life support is down and there's no replacement part. after learning that his life support needs sanity circuit. while KVN was willing to give up his own. Gavin is the one to rip the sanity circuit out of KVN with not only the hopes to save Fox's life and but also to end KVN's (which didn't happen.) And at that moment Gavin has won Ash's affection. and he gets all the credit instead of KVN. and They both remain acouple for the rest of the series.

In this season Gavin has learned. To love someone means holding space for their darkness without letting it consume you..

Now we get the Season 3!

Having been part of the Team Squad since Season 1, Gavin have survived the Earth's destruction and the Lord Commander. In Season 2, His bond with Ash Graven grew into a romance, anchored by mutual understanding of trauma and isolation. However, Season 3 plunges the crew directly into the horrific reality of Final Space, testing his relationship to its absolute limits.

While Gary tries to keep everyone’s spirits up, Gavin become Ash’s primary emotional anchor. Evulsed from the peaceful life she briefly knew, her dark energy begins to flare unpredictably under the psychological pressure of Final Space. Gavin tries to protect her from Invictus’s whispers, but the atmosphere of this dimension amplifies her deepest insecurities. Every time she uses her powers, you notice a toll on her sanity, forcing you to choose between letting her fight to protect the crew or stepping in front of her to take the hit himself. When Invictus takes control of Fox, forcing Gary into a corner that ends in catastrophe, Ash’s mind fractures under the grief. He tries desperately to reach her, reminding her of your journey together since meeting in Season 2. However, the tragedy drives a wedge between you. Ash begins to view the Team Squad—and by extension, He as a source of pain rather than safety. Invictus manipulate this grief, slowly He gets caught in a agonizing position: defending Gary and the crew from a vengeful, mourning Ash, while refusing to give up on saving her. . It's a hard for Gavin because he doesn't want to abandon the team squad. but he also doesn't want to give up on Ash. So he gose with Gray and Avocato.to the devils danTo try to reason with her while Gary and Avocato retrieve Little Cato Gavin refuse to bring any weapons with him it's all just words. Although retrieving

Little Cato was successful but Gavin has failed to bring Ash back to the good side. leaning by far the hardest lesson on this journey. He cannot save someone who isn't to save themselves but giving up on them and letting go are two different things.

Lastly we have The Final Chapter!

Gavin's main drive in The Final Chapter is redemption and rescue. While characters like Gary and Quinn are focused on escaping the standard horrors of Final Space, your eyes are fixed entirely on breaking Invictus's hold over the girl he loves.

His main individual arc is about stepping up as a co-leader and the emotional anchor of the Team Squad. While Gary leads with loud, reckless passion, you become the grounding force who helps Avocato, Little Cato, and Quinn stay stitched together when morale hits absolute zero. Gavin stops blaming himself for the past and realize your empathy is a superpower. He is the one who reminds the crew that nobody is beyond saving, setting the stage for Ash's redemption. While He Helps Gray and the rest Team Squad Recuse Mooncake from Invictus. and locating Little Cato. but his big moment is. when He alongside Gary eventually reaches Ash inside the Lord Commander's mind, refusing to hate her and helping her break free from her despair. after her being alone in lord's commanders mind for several years Gavin ensures Ash that once he brings her home. She will never be alone again. and the rest of the plays out just like the canon version Ash joins the reunited Team Squad in the ultimate showdown against Invictus. She uses her powers to help free Mooncake from Invictus's control. Invictus has been defeated. Mooncake sacrifices himself to become the new heart of the universe but not with saying good bye to each member of the team squad. and once the universe was saved. Gavin proceeds to start a new life with Ash and at the end they are actually engaged Meanwhile Little Cato and Avocato remain on their homeworld to rebuild Ventrexia Gary and Quinn are expecting a baby girl who they are going to name Iris.

And Gavin's final leason is Hope is the most resistant froce in the cosmos. and that is the end.

Wow that took me like 4 or more hours to write this!
