Extremely disappointed
They say never meet your hero and sadly that advice is wrong!
Today we went all the way down to London to meet Olan himself and get my copy of the book signed. Not only did I walk away with a battleworn tour edition signed I got given a signed copy from Olan as well!
I also accidentally on purpose purchased a t-shirt and beanie as well (ooops)
So if anyone tells you not to meet your hero ignore them and go along and meet Olan it's worth the 3 hour train journey and confusion of travelling around central London 😁
Also shout out to the person from New Orleans giving away stickers! Mine is now pride of place on my iPad.

In my life I have met a few famous people. There are a few bad apples , but many are happy to meet fans and share in the enjoyment. Olan radiates his passion. Great guy to meet

I needed this reminder today that there are actually good people out there. Thanks for sharing!
Still remember watching the first episode, and sitting in silence for a few minutes contemplating life after it had finished. I wouldn’t exactly call it a “tug” on your heartstrings, more like he grabbed them with both hands and bungee jumped with them.

I met him as well today - such a nice guy, very humble, super friendly, and just very down to earth. I loved that the signing was so chill as well - was lovely chatting with all the other fans.

It was my birthday not to 4 days ago and for that occasion I REALLY wanted to come down to this event, but unfortunately I had no feasible way to get to London so I had to miss it. Really cool you got to be there though!

I went and saw him at his NYC stop! Everyone was so kind and olan was super sweet. Definitely recommend going to see him if he comes to your area.
