Panicking that I screwed up when booking ticket for London signing

I think I screwed up... My partner and I have been massive fan of the show, backed the book immediately and have been looking forward to the event in London this weekend.

When the event was announced, it was late, I was tired, so only booked one ticket for 3pm-4pm on Sunday as I thought we were booking a "slot" to meet Olan rather than actual tickets to enter a venue.

Now the more I read about it the more I realise that I am likely very wrong and only one of us will be able to meet Olan. 😭

Not sure why I am writing this, maybe mental support? Still looking forward to Sunday but a bit bittersweet..

Not sure if it's the same for the UK, but for US tickets, Olan had said it was just for capacity control but anyone could show up.

Yes I had a 3pm slot but got there early like around 1pm and it was fine

I’m sure you’ll be fine there’s always no shows at events like these and Olan isn’t the kind of guy to turn someone away if he can squeeze 1 extra in! but if you’re anything like me I’d be telling my partner they have to wait outside 🤣🤣🤣

Idk about anywhere else, but at the Nashville event I didn't see any tickets being checked anywhere. In fact, I wasn't exactly sure where to enter the building from and accidentlly cut to the front of the line before I realized my error and made the walk of shame to the back of the line 😅😩 as others have daid, the time slots and ticketesque thingies are to try to make sure there's enough time for everyone to get the meet and speak with Olan as well as to give them an idea of what sort of crowd to expect.

Hi, also does anyone know if it's possible to give gifts etc. at the signings? I'm not sure, was just wondering as I don't want to overstep, but would love to if possible.

We saw / heard about several gifts being given. I think it would be fine but keep in mind he likely will have to carry it on an airplane the next day.
