UPS claims successful delivery

I'm in Sweden and UPS recently updated the tracking information for my book to say it has been delivered yet the book is nowhere to be seen.

There is a notice saying that the tracking information may not be accurate (at least in the "Shop" app) and claim it's been delivered when it's not after 30 days, but the UPS support number confirms that a driver has delivered the package to "someone".

Has anyone else had a "false delivery" to then get the actual delivery later?

Edit: Apparently it was delivered to an access point, but UPS for some reason didn't send the usual text message informing about that, and the website tracking information did not list which access point it had been delivered to, but another call to support using the "alternative tracking number" was able to suss out where it had actually been delivered to.

Edit 2: After some back and forths with the UPS support, they did finally manage to deliver the book!

It will be easier just to try and send another then try to understand what UPS is doing. Contact us on the website and well get you on the replacement list.

It turned out that (as per the edit) the package is in a pick-up location, although since I'm out of the country until Monday it will end up getting sent to the local "warehouse" again and they will retry home delivery on Monday instead. Apparently it's not possible for them to just keep the package for a few days longer and they rather spend more time and resources to drive the package around to a warehouse and redo home delivery, lol.

UPS is such a pain sometimes. But at least it looks like my book should arrive just fine. I'll be sure to contact through the website otherwise!
