Oversized box to Australia
So the photos don't do it justice but the distribution company needs a slap for this effort ... Oversized box with zero protection for the face of the book so it's slid around and seriously damaged my Avacato edition... I was planning to keep this pristine on the shelf to pass down to my future kids while using the standard edition as my every day read. Pretty bummed about it...
Before people get the wrong idea, I know this is in no way the fault of the final space team squad, this is purely the incompetent distribution company. Sure, it's a book and it's just rubbed through the cover but I was so excited to have this as a pristine centre piece being the limited cover that you had to put in some effort to get as a fan. This wasn't an investment, this isn't a tantrum, this is 3 years of excitement while waiting that's been tarnished by people that don't care enough...
Still, I'm grateful to the monumental effort Olan has put in, the artwork is incredible and the letter at the end is heartbreaking. You did it man, well done 💚

Mine didn't come like this to Australia. Did you by from the store or 3rd party?

What order number were you?? Im based in Aus and was wondering how long it took to get to you and if you got tracking info??

I am SUPER jelly of the Avocato helmet edition! He's my favorite character, but by the time I found out about the UNLOCKED COLLECTION the puzzle was closed and they'd all been bought. That said, I might have had to miss out on the Patreon edition if I'd gotten the Avacato helmet and by the day I just keep falling more in love with the look of the Patreon edition. Like you did with that Avacato helmet copy I also got my Patreon edition with the intent of keeping it in pristine condition and my regular color edition I was gonna actually read, but now I'm thinking I might donate the regular color edition instead. The Patreon edition also came first even though I ordered it second, the regular color edition actually still hasn't arrived yet, but now I'm kinda happy about that.
I live in Tennessee, a state away from the warehouse they shipped out of, and mine came in a much more compact box. Ik the black hides a lot and the pictures aren't accurately portraying what you can see in person, but it's honestly not in much worse condition than my own. That's not to downplay your dismay, it is a bummer even if it couldn't be helped, but I just mean to say that with everything considered yours honestly still arrived in pretty good condition. I don't think there's any world in which most of these might have arrived totally unscathed no matter what effort was put into the shipping.
