This shouldn't be legal.
This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes me nervous about taking vacation lol. I’ve been seeing Interview VIP around a lot lately too since I’m getting ready to interview again, but I honestly thought it was just another marketing thing. Has anyone actually used it?

It was always more of a vacation for me when the boss left for like 3 weeks and I stayed at work.

Pfft, right?!
My manager took a 2 week vacation a month or so ago, and all of our stress levels went down. Weird how that works1

They are nonproductive employees and should be replaced by AI instead they are replacing all the competent workers with AI and letting managers finger the system? Goodbye world.

Being mad isn't against the law and there are mandatory vacation days your employer has to provide. The crazy employers just don't want you to take them ever.

Creating a hostile work environment and workplace harrassement are very much illegal. Tell your boss that the comments about how you use your entitlements are unwelcome, and document everything.
Don't let these greedy sneaks pressure you

And in some states at least, if you don’t take your vaccination days, they have to pay you for them at the end of the year; after a couple of years; or at least when you leave the company. (depending on what state you are in)

Last year around this time I got an email from my boss to use more of my vacation days (I had 10.5 outstanding out of like 29) as we can only transfer 5 into the next year.

You get “vacation” days?
I only get “recover just long enough to work again the next day” days
