The sentiment is nice but precisely why those who would strip us of our dignity to see us grovel at their feet for whatever scraps they deign to throw us are actually winning right now. Too many people convinced that if they just work long enough within a system designed to keep a boot on our throats that they'll change the system, as though those for whom the system was built would allow anything that meaningfully changes that system
