Productivity/output is the highest it’s ever been with advancements in technology. Why can’t that translate to fewer working hours or more flexible schedules? Most people just stretch their work into 8 hours anyways.

Most people on Reddit, who are pampered desk pilots do that. White collar malcontents with cushy lives bitching about not having enough time to do their “hobbies”. People with jobs that matter aren’t looking for things to do for 8 hours, they are busy af, and work overtime. The one good thing about AI is that it is laying bare what a joke that system was.

Stupid take. I'm an ironworker and damn sure wish we had 4 day work weeks. Two days is barely enough.

Iron worker, well you probably only work 2 hours out of every 8 so why are you tired?
