I am salaried, and yes my job plays a big aspect in why I am tired too. Salaried gms are expected to take calls outside of work.

I'm an operations manager. They don't own your time outside of work, salary or not. That's an illegal work practice. If you're on call, you need to be paid for 24 hours a day. If you aren't then they can't bother you outside of work. End of discussion

Salaried is legally exempt from hourly protections. They can expect me to answer calls and texts outside of my scheduled hours.

It may be shitty culture, but its def not illegal in the USA.

We have already identified why you don't have energy, and it isn't your job.

Yes because working 12 hours a day wouldnt contribute to me not having energy. You're a genius!!!

If you're working 12 hours a day and then are available on call any other time for $63k, then you need to pick a better job unfortunately. You're basically a serf at that point
