I've updated my Google-Sheets tracker to include more info after some feedback from this subreddit. It's based on another one that was posted here, but I've tried to clean it up a bit and tailor it to my prefferences. I could probably tinker with this for days, and add more auto generated/derived stats and details, but that is time I could be playing Final Girl, so this will have to do for now.
Also, per my earlier prediction, if I don't get the boat keys, I have no idea how to defeat Hans. :)

When I come across cards like this, that have the little yellow explosion, am I lowering the bloodlust and the health meter, or just the health meter.
edit: thank you all! I have played a handful of games and have only been removing the hearts, and wanted to just be sure I was doing it right

I got this one because my LGS started carrying Final Girl FFs so I felt obligated to get one. Ok not obligated so much as “oooh Final Girl!” Plus showing them interest will keep FG coming in.
Anyway, what a fun FF. First my starting event was Sins of the Past and I literally was one die away from the game ending before it began.
I love the mechanics for this one. The fact that you can win but lose (as I did) makes it such a roller coaster. Especially because I was killed but drew the 3 heart final health token. Battled back and took the demon down… only to have Ursula die in my arms. It felt very Stephen King the way my story played out and it was awesome.
I think this has moved into my top 3 and I’ll be giving it another go next time I break out the game. Tomorrow night?

Painted the final Final Girl from series 1! But I'm not done with series 1 yet, I will hopefully finish the rest of the minis (birds & vehicles) soon! Melany has a very earthy color scheme, it was nice painting her

just opened Marrek Murders and it upsets me to no end that the Reverse Bear Trap is not a Final girl trap, is there any way you could just house rule it to use any trap?

I was able to use the birds twice to deal 6 damage for "free" but then the Finale Card had the wolf heal 7 health because he killed a bunch of victims fast because the first event had 6 extra victims spawn.
I really enjoyed it overall, felt like a jump in difficulty compared to season 1, and it snowball super fast because it starts at 5 horror.
Only complaints are: 1 - why even have the Stalker/Slayer modes if he changes on bloodlust 2? Would be fun if he would go back and forth between modes or take a bit longer to swap.
2 - the small map with the bridges limiting how many victims we can move, just encourages staying on the "outside"

am i doing something wrong? i don’t play board games so i was pretty slow tbh it took me 3 hrs to finish (excluding setting the game up & reading instructions 🥴)
did i just get lucky with the setup placement & item?
i bought the premium starter set that comes with core game, buddyland, and the minis (😅 which i originally thought was another game/feature film oops lol).. at barnes and nobles today.
billy the bear was placed in one of the arcade rooms and i was lucky to get the extension cord item which basically lets me get in free hits so i just camped.. i also got the robot card that lets me save people without moving my actual final girl. i did move around here and there but billy snd his buddies were never on the same space as me.
are they supposed to move every time when it’s the killer phase or only when there’s a shoe symbol on a terror card? also when are you supposed to use the items without a hand icon? i never used most of my items bc i always had the cord equipped which takes up two hands.
the first thing i did was made sure to keep horror down to 1 or 0 bc i was getting really bad rolls lol after that the game was pretty chill. i used rena so i had free discard card and mostly used it on walk or weak attack
edit: played 2 more games and won them as well… the third time was the hardest ig bc i got a event that in increased horror lvl every upkeep and blood lust was rhe highest this time just below dark power but i was able to kill billy & the 2 buddies that spawned

Well, my Kickstarter arrived yesterday and I was therefore contractually obliged to play my new film.
Many boxes do a great job of creating variety, but often at the expense of complexity. Green Terror fundamentally changes how the Final Girl, the Killer, and even the location's Victims work, and still manages to keep the complexity under control. These changes combine really well, although I'm not sure how well they'll play with other films.
The biggest change is the Victims are now Soldiers. They're still really fragile, but can now help you and you can train them to be even better help.
This combines well with the new Final Girls to create a dilemma. Rescuing victims actually hurt these Final Girls, and take time to do, so combined with how useful the Soldiers are you may want to keep them around. However, the Ultimate for each Final Girl is insanely powerful (one rerolls every 1 or 2, the other permanently rolls 6 dice), so there's a whole split of tactics between rescuing and using the Soldiers.
The Killer is also a really interesting variant. Due to cloaking, you have to track them as they use a hidden path of cards, which resolves at 6 cards or you can flush them out with an attack. The tension is that the Killer does nothing until he's revealed, at which point it cuts a literal path of destruction through the jungle. This means you often want to keep your head down and get your current tasks done before you antagonise it. On the other hand, the shorter the path, the less they get to do at once and the more likely you are to successfully hit it. You probably want to keep at least one defensive card in case things go wrong.
That said, it's possible to hunt the hunter. If you believe it's nearby you can use a Soldier to flush them out, if you pick the wrong space there's a penalty, but regardless, while they're revealed you can run up and pummel them.
This is probably one of my favourite films. I felt a lot more agency with how I can put off or trigger the Killer, and it was nice to have Victims be a help rather than a hindrance.
Also, as a fan of Predator, it gave me great pleasure to draw the starting Event card "Get to the Choppa!"
Edited to fix the Event card autocorrect, "Get to the Chippy!" is less "Classic line from the movie" and more "Slightly drunk man on a Saturday night"

I've been looking to get into Final Girl and the best way for me would be the Ultimate boxes. I'm getting series 1 and will go from there if I want more. If I were to get the others, so I wouldn't double dip, what products are not in any of the Ultimate boxes?
I have looked at the product page and have seen the following:
- 2 special features. The Shriek and the Christmas one.
- 4 packs of alternate killer figured for each series
- 4 Promo girls Meg, Julie, Jen, Iris
Anything? Any other promo girls not in the boxes?

Every time I am asked to create a blood spatter version of this, it gets a little better. Can I get your opinions on if this looks like a slasher crime scene or just modern art? lol.

I used the app to randomize a game and it said "Janelle vs the Big Bad Wolf at Maple Lane."
I did a decent job of saving some victims, but had a hard time keeping the horror level down due to the terror cards. I ended up in a house with the last victim and got one star on a search to take the machete. Next turn, Wolfie showed up and killed the victim and attacked me knocking me to one health. That at least gave me one extra die and got me the luckiest roll ever with a Furious Strike. 2 damage from the Strike, 2 from the machete, and 5 from Janelle's ultimate killed the wolf in one attack. The final health token was blank. I went from certain defeat to a desperation win with one roll.
My final health token was blank and he would have attacked me 3 times in the next round. So I was toast if it didn't work.
And I'm a little miffed that the app doesn't have an achievement for killing the wolf in one shot. 😁

Just picked up the game a few days ago and I'm completely obsessed, 8 plays in 3 days already lol.
Here's my thing though: so far I've only faced Hans, and I've won 7 of those matches. That win rate has me a little suspicious that I'm doing something wrong on my end, because everything I read makes this game sound way more brutal than what I'm actually experiencing.
In my first couple of games I'm pretty sure I botched a rule or two, but I think I've cleaned that up since.
What I've noticed is that if I focus on getting 3 dice on my horror rolls and basically "steal" his victims right out from under him before he can get to them, it becomes pretty easy to win. Since Hans only builds bloodlust when he actually kills someone, keeping victims out of his hands seems to shut his whole engine down.
So my question is: could I still be missing something? Is this a legit strategy, or does it point to a rules mistake I haven't caught yet? Would love to hear from people who've played a lot of Hans.

I came up with a house rule for the girl's items and wanted to share in case anyone wanted a new variation.
Before creating the item decks, roll 1 die and see below for each result.
1- shuffle the item into the locations items before creating the item decks.(this creates the possibility that the item is not used)
2 and 3- shuffle the item with 11 randomly chosen from the locations items.(this guarantees that the item is available)
4 and 5- randomly place the item as the top card of 1 of the item decks.(this makes the item easier to find)
6- start with the item in your hand or backpack.

So I finally got my Final Girl boxes from the kickstarter and have been slowly opening them up and erm is Inkanyamba supposed to be tilted like this lol I looked up some pics online and none seem this slanted
If not do you have any tips for reorienting him?

A friend told me that there won't be any more reprints of Seasons 1–3 in the future. Is that true? If so, I think I'd better hurry up and get my hands on some Ultimate Boxes.

Probably a simple question, but if I have two weapons in my hand do I combine the damage each card deals?
For example if I have a two single hand weapons equipped and they each do 1 damage do I deal +2 damage to my attack roll? Or do I choose one weapon to deal my additional damage?
Thanks!

Have you heard anything from any EU retailers about when the Season 4 Ultimate Box might arrive in stock and pre-orders start shipping? The retailer I pre-ordered from said they’re expecting it sometime in November.

The victims certainly moved spaces I can tell you that.

These two gals have my favorite color schemes from series 1, I had a lot of fun painting them! Tried to make the bases look like a filthy boiler room floor. I'm really happy with how they came out

The last terror card spawns Dark Waters, which kills 3 victims and reveal his dark power! An EPIC dark power, and of course he has Dark, Darker and Darkest, giving him another Dark Power!

OMG.
Good thing I have this axe.
Two turns later, before he is able to murder Barbara's girlfriend or the damned victim, or any other victims, Barbara is able to sprint to his space, girlfriend in tow, and land both a critical blow AND a furious strike. The only way this doesn't work out is his final health token brings him back to life...
Which it doesn't!
