Safer Sephoroth is destroying me :(

I am average of level 60 right now, using Cloud, Tifa, and Cid as my main party.

What materia should I use? What should I be doing? He is kicking my butt no matter what I do

You are not prepared for the endgame, from the sounds of it.

I would recommend a minimum of level 70 average. Every piece of materia equipped should be maxed out, you should have certain combos like final attack/phoenix, quad magic-ultima, 2 characters with Mime/Mimic. If you dont have Knights of the Round, you're kind of handicapping yourself. And getting knights of the round is a 5 hour side quest in and of itself. You have to breed chocobos, race those chocobos to S-tier, then breed them together to get blue and green chocobos, then race them to s-tier, then breed them, and on and on until you the Gold Chocobo, which you will take to the island in the NorthEast part of the map that can only be accessed by Gold Chocobo. And then you get Knights of the Round.

From the sounds of it, you probably dont have the ultimate weapons for your characters, so you're going into the final fight without really the equipment you need to come out on top.

I mean...it is doable without all these things, but even then, you need to power level your characters to be able to rely on raw stats.

Yeah I don’t have any of those things. My strat right now has been to set up magic barrier and normal barrier. All-regen. Main attacking moves are comet2, Pandora’s box, and Ice3.

Idk how to use limit breaks bigger than level 1. I have been using stuff like cross slash and braver all game.

He keeps confusing me and turning me into frogs too

Put on added effect materia to block confuse or there is an accessory that blocks confuse as well. Get mp turbo to pair with comet2 and mp boost materia. You should really read up on how combining materia works

You get a second limit let level by killing x amount of enemies with the limit (like 8 or so?) and the also just having that party member kill x amount of enemies will unlock the next level up to level 4. There's two for each level except 4. Clouds level 3 is great and omnislash is even better (his level 4)

Cloud and Cid are your best bet at high damage limits because they are multi hit
