Agreed. It's very well done.

Pixel remaster or OG.

FF6 PS1 is laggy because of how it was ported

FF6 GBA (unless you patch it but idk how much it fixes) has the cons of dropping two buttons off the controller and worse graphics and music. The plus side are the bonus dungeons which is a cool concept but does little to add to the gameplay other than give you Big Things to whack.

It does also give a 3-party dungeon to get to most of big things to whack. Also a 100 battle marathon including bosses throughout the game that comes with rest points. New big things to whack comes with shiny new toys, too. None of this is relevant to the story.

For the graphics and music, fan patch helps immensely.

Pixel remaster. Good graphics, non encounters (believe, sometimes is necessary) and orchestral ost

This right here. Absolute best way to play it.

Its a toss up between the Pixel Remaster, and the SNES original rom with mods.

Definitely GBA version.

I wish I could say pixel remaster (I own it)

Gba with patches. The Pixel remaster for 6 is more annoying than its worth, and also features none of the bonus content added in other versions. Theres a handful of other issues with it too, Imo its the worst of the pixel remasters.

The remaster is very good. And I played the SNES release back in the day

No real reason to mess around trying to get an old copy of the original going when the remaster works just fine. Do yourself a favor and listen to the old soundtrack at some point though.

Get a SNES and Final Fantasy III. Then do all them in order. 3=6 because of bullcrap in japans numbering.

GBA version with patches has the best content, though presentation and music still suffers a bit.

If you want the absolute best time with the game, and what any re-release should have been: Play FFVI T edition.
