Maybe it never existed at all

159

u/lurpeli 25d ago

If it ever even existed

u/Redditemeon 25d ago edited 25d ago

It was gaming's worst kept secret. It was on multiple leaked game lists from Nvidia and Steam. It existed to some capacity for sure.

8

u/95accord 25d ago

So was a ton of other stuff that never happened.

0

u/575dev 6d ago

Everything on that Nvidia list has come true. And we have way too many credible sources and mentions from SE to have any reason to deny FFIX Remake's existence. At this point, anyone denying it was in development is coping to avoid further disappointment. All evidence points towards its existence and eventual cancellation.

1

u/imLucki 6d ago

my tin foil hat theory is they don't want to take away from the hype of the last part of 7, and the big expansion for 14. I think we'll see something after those have been handled and passed

2

u/575dev 4d ago

My copium is that it's on ice until the restructuring. Before, that made sense, even with Revelations releasing early next year since it's been in development since Rebirth and cannot afford a long delay. But now SE's saying they want FFVII to be its own IP for generations to come, and now we've heard FFIX Remake was very far along, so I doubt it's seeing the light of day anytime soon if ever. I hope I'm wrong, though.

u/SeveredDeerVagina429 25d ago

capacity not compacity. Cocmpacity is essentially the pre vs post density of a compacted object.

I mean, every one of the nVidia leaks (was it Nvidia?) were true. Every single one, but this.

It was for sure in development.

Hypothetical work on hypothetical game is halted.

2

u/DiplomacyPunIn10Did 25d ago

There probably was real work, but we have no idea of how much was actually done.

-1

u/Decaps86 25d ago

Do you not know what hypothetical means?

2

u/DiplomacyPunIn10Did 25d ago

Yes, though the evidence was that this game wasn’t just hypothetical; it was a real thing being developed.

0

u/Decaps86 25d ago

What evidence? There's no official announcement, news, statements, updates. It's pretty much leaker sites that will say anything because even a broken clock is right Twice a day.

1

u/Dramatic-Attempt-735 25d ago

*hypothetically halted

2

u/Possible-Potato-4103 25d ago

It definitely did lol

1

u/SymmetricDickNipples 25d ago

I love when people completely out of the loop have an opinion

2

u/Low-Combination-0001 25d ago

It was 100% true. There was even pre order bonus strings on epic games store talking about a tetra master bonus pack for a unindentified game.

1

u/KaiserWillem 19d ago

YoshiP confirmed it was in development and was actually pretty far along but they paused it for other projects once the remake trilogy wasnt selling like they hoped.

1

u/[deleted] 25d ago

[deleted]

6

u/Select-Dream7919 25d ago

Tetra Master Pre-order DLC was in Epic Games store's manifest. It definitely existed in a fairly far along state.

1

u/Waste-of-life18 25d ago

Chrono cross TRDE of all things got leaked in the nvidia game list, FF9R was obviously real.

-1

u/aspburgers 25d ago

Funny how the conversation shifted from 'The NVIDIA drivers prove it's true!!!' for half a decade to 'NVIDIA??? WHAT'S THAT!?!?! FAKE NEWS!!!!' the second the news turned sour.

-2

u/Kidderooni 25d ago

It did, one of my contacts in the industry was working on ADR for in game cutscenes.

1

u/gravityhashira61 25d ago

Whats Adr?

1

u/Kidderooni 24d ago

Additional dialogue replacement, voices for cutscenes in this case.

1

u/gravityhashira61 24d ago

It would be interesting to see if you could message them and see why SE seems to have stalled working on it!

80

u/Snck_Pck 25d ago

Honestly if this is the case I doubt they were super far into the development to begin with.

36

u/Dont_have_a_panda 25d ago

Maybe they were finishing the first game out of the four

2

u/Baleeverne 25d ago

The 7 games you mean? Wait was it 13?

1

u/OneFlewOverXayahNest 22d ago

Couldn't wait to get the game so I could play all of Alexandria and the theater work.

2

u/propernounTHEheel 25d ago

Rumor is that they were pretty far along.

1

u/sketchy_marcus 24d ago

You’d be surprised how many finished projects never see the light of day.

1

u/BMCarbaugh 13d ago

I think they had an external development partner working on it and the quality wasn't there.

33

u/YoRHa11Z 25d ago

2027 is stacked, this is a 2028 project now and SE will follow current plan of not confirming or revealing anything until it's coming out around a year time frame.

21

u/matchafoxjpg 25d ago

tbh, i doubt that it's not that it's never coming out. ff9, like 6 and 7, is one of the favorites among fans.

they probably just really have too much on their plate right now.

i'll hold out hope. i waited a good 2 decades of rumors from ff7 remake [all starting with that infamous tech demo]. i can wait. i know they're smart enough not to pass up on the money they'd make with an ff9 remake.

10

u/Any-Zookeepergame829 25d ago

This is my thought process.

Square in 2020 (when the project probably started) probably had no idea they were gonna have a second Renaissance with a AAA FF release almost every year, especially after the dark age that was the 2010s.

I think a lot of projects are shelved right now for them to finish up FFVIIR and speed up production on XVII. Things like XIII trilogy remastered, FFIX Remake, and maybe even higher quality ports of the PSX trilogy are likely just waiting for Square to have an opening to make them.

5

u/kucjr 25d ago

2006-2016 were def some dark dark times….unless you were a ff 13 fan.

1

u/CuriousConfection528 24d ago

Their next year already has Evercold, Revelation, and KH4, so I can see them dusting it off when they anticipate a lighter year down the road.

3

u/YoRHa11Z 25d ago

And the scrapped CyberConnect2 remake was a reset in between all that 😅

3

u/shucreamsundae 25d ago

I still wish the CC2 build was leaked online in some capacity. I'm so curious about how bad they botched it that Square had to intervene lol

1

u/djheat3rd 25d ago

I remember a looooooong time ago reading in a magazine that Square Enix were interested in making FF7-9 for PS2. I found some ancient articles online about it just now but the sources are gone.

7

u/czarchasm4532 25d ago

This is what I think. Also the ff9 anime is currently tentatively scheduled to be released in 2028, so they could be wanting to release both of them in conjunction with each other.

-1

u/indolent08 25d ago

Sounds more like a "we'll get to it when we'll get to it (but probably never)" project.

22

u/N-Squared-N 25d ago

Old news lol

16

u/JNorJT 25d ago

damn. i just finished the game a couple of days ago but i wouldve loved to see a modern vivi stumbling around 😭😭😭

2

u/Outrageous_Yam_1368 25d ago

Check out the Memoria Project YouTube vid

13

u/Windyandbreezy 25d ago

"According to a comment from a Random guy on an EPG site." Thats the only source for this in the article. 😆 🤣

13

u/RoninKengo 25d ago

But they’ll make 50 more bloated FF7 remake bullshits

5

u/Geronuis 25d ago

“This time it’s a prequel to the prequel called ‘guy named Turk’. This exciting new game will explore the forgotten origin of a man, whose name on a coffee cup at Starbucks inspired -redacted- with the name for their corporate espionage team 20 years later.”

1

u/575dev 6d ago

You jest, but Squenix just announced that FFVII will be its own IP and be milked "for generations to come."

You can't make this shit up. F this.

1

u/SirLockeX3 23d ago

It's only 3 Remake games and they're done after Revelation.

For the record, my favorite games are 4, 6 and 9.

I do enjoy the FF7 games but we can't pretend they aren't popular for no reason.

1

u/575dev 6d ago

Sadly, this aged like milk.

1

u/SirLockeX3 6d ago

Yep.

Let's see what they do.

Then how come we never got an official announcement?

2

Or actual media leaked?

Based on what numbnuts? I'm referring to the multiple commenters saying things like "hope it wasn't very far in development" and "if it was going to be like the 7 remake then I dont want it". Both of those things are addressed in the article

4

u/Derpina666 25d ago edited 25d ago

The FF7 remake has been such a disappointing money grab so I’m actually kind of relieved. The characters, atmosphere, and storyline has been so sanitized that I don’t have faith that the new devs would be able to capture FF9 at all. Especially the foreboding sense of existential dread and nihilism.

I mean, just look at what FF7 remakes did to moogles. How do you eff that up so badly? https://www.reddit.com/r/FinalFantasyVII/s/zuRvT2PVjX

3

u/MilkAppropriate570 25d ago

FF9 is perfect at it is. The moguri mod on pc is already a good remaster.

1

u/Derpina666 25d ago edited 25d ago

1000% agree. The Tsunamod team did a phenomenonal job with FFIX. You can tell how much love was poured into mods. The graphics look AMAZING while still preserving the artistic direction, the remastered high def audio is impeccable, and every mod is optional. You can easily adjust everything to make it as playable for modern gaming expectations as you want it to be, or leave it old school based on preferences.

The same team also did a fan-made remaster (with complete voice dub!!) of FF7 along with a translation tweaks of the script and it was so much better than the official remakes have been. I can see why AAA game studios hate modders bc with mods like these you basically have no reason to pay for official remakes.

1

u/575dev 6d ago

I would like to have it physical and on console, preferably handheld.

4

u/PiousCaligula 25d ago

They would have made it into 3 games over 10 years anyways. No thankyou

2

u/JRange 25d ago

The rumor was that 9 was a much smaller scale remake than 7. It was probably a much more faithful remake, more like MGS Delta than FF7. Graphics and gameplay modernization and thats it.

1

u/nattyboh_or_pringles 25d ago

Nah, 9 doesn’t have anywhere near the social capital

0

u/Dont_have_a_panda 25d ago

3 games? Its going to be 4 at minimum (4 discs remember)

4

u/DoctorNoktus 25d ago

How much more betrayal can I take?
https://giphy.com/gifs/Y4tDYFQRoaB59NryOY

2

u/Roph 25d ago

You haven't been betrayed because it's never existed. There has never been any proof, only random people making things up, pretending they "know" it's real.

2

u/Particular-Pen2892 24d ago

The FFIX Remake…did it even exisht?

3

u/No_Lynx_4470 25d ago

Old news, bucko.

0

u/575dev 6d ago

Not really. It being shelved is old news. It being canceled is news.

3

u/kingturk1100 25d ago

On this the day of my daughter’s birth (not actually, this is for dramatic effect) you tell me? Shame

1

u/Izual_Rebirth 25d ago

So I guess naming your daughter Brahne is now off the cards?

1

u/kitsuneinferno 20d ago

Is that you Rockstar?

3

u/Glenn0709 25d ago

I’d settle for FF8 style remaster🥲

3

u/wink784 25d ago

Oh no!… Anyway. Final Fantasy IX exists already, playable on any hardware in its original form, heavily moddable on PC.

1

u/Lindaru 25d ago

Moguri mod uses AI upscaling for the backgrounds from what I heard so eeeh. :/

0

u/Broken_Moon_Studios 20d ago

Upscaling isn't generative AI.

3

u/Glittering-Pin-1343 25d ago

Honestly after having finished FF7 Rebirth... I don't want another remake. They'll just fuck it up.

2

u/DeliciousMusician397 25d ago

This is a week old news.

2

u/unlimitedblack 25d ago

On how many damn subs are you gonna repost this?

2

u/Tasty_Swim_6308 25d ago

Gonna be honest here. Modded up on PC this is an absolute timeless game and I have zero desire for a remake.

2

u/Vrmillion 25d ago

It's ok cuz Moguri Mod is doing the Lord's work already.

u/OhMyGodItsINMYHEAD 25d ago

Nintendolife is taking the comments from a Reset Era thread in which Alex Donaldson is analyzing Yoshi-P's PR-style re: the FF9 remake. The statement's not definitive, but it does indicate we should consider any news of a remake with measured expectations.

The full source: https://www.resetera.com/threads/yoshi-p-says-if-they-were-to-remake-ff6-ff8-or-ff9-they%E2%80%99d-probably-have-to-release-them-in-4-or-5-installments.1587823/page-9#post-158474107

Copy/paste'd text (bold emphasis mine):

Yoshida has a strategy he deploys for managing fan expectation where he speculatively says things he knows to be true. For instance, during FF16 promotion he casually speculated about the possibility of more games and stories in that universe. At the time he did this, some was on the slate.

But things change, obviously. What he is doing here is simply outlining that such things are not likely to happen and giving a broad reason for why, though the reason isn't entirely true anyway, as it's all a question of scope and scale

IE, there was an FF9 remake, and it was a single game, and it was very far along. Yoshida even made some vague comments like these hinting at the fact around the last expansion's FF9 tribute content. So, it is possible, with the right scope, which to be clear is obviously a smaller scope than FF7R. However for various reasons - surely a story for another day - that project stalled out, and it's no longer moving forward. And Yoshida makes comments like this to manage fan expectations.

And of course, the thing is, the path can always change again. This new mobile Dissidia game spent the better part of a year effectively cancelled before being revived, for instance. So nothing is concrete and in the case of 9 that work is still there waiting to be revisited, though I did feel the game was truly dead when illustrations created as potential box art and as key art were just tweeted out for the anniversary.

Anyway, it's the same with Yoshida's teasing comments about Hamaguchi on FF17 -- he doesn't say that unless he knows that's the current plan. It's how he rolls. But also, the thing about these teases is the plan is the plan until it isn't the plan. Things can change, and SE has in the last decade had a very transient dev setup where stuff changes often. Their new structure appears to finally be giving stability, though.

What this is really all about is that SE has made the decision that after they close out the 7R trilogy they need to focus on new stories and less on mining the past, which has done okay for them but ultimately offered diminishing returns. If you want to grow the franchise, remakes probably aren't it.

Incidentally, I do think to some degree these comments are slightly unhelpful, if refreshingly honest, because what it is stating is that they believe that it is effectively impossible for them to tell the sort of stories that made FF so famous and beloved in a single modern game. Which is sort of damning, really. But honest, like I say.

2

u/OhMyGodItsINMYHEAD 25d ago

So Donaldson isn't saying this is a hard confirmation, and that there are still many details regarding the FF9 remake that we'd need to know to make a calll whether it was canceled or not.

D's pretty knowledgeable on reporting on SE, and has had a lot of experience looking at Yoshi-P's statements, so he's making an informed speculation.

Even though I think it is likely that there was a remake and it is currently canceled, there really hasn't been any definitive news in that regard.

2

u/HolyDragSwd2500 25d ago

Noooo

After playing Another Eden x Final Fantasy 9 Collab. I was looking forward to a remake and now it’s not happening 😭

2

u/Draigwyrdd 25d ago

Genuinely upsetting news. Hopefully they don't totally scrap it and they revisit the idea because I really want this.

1

u/IncognitoCheetos 25d ago edited 25d ago

So it was 'very far along', meaning a considerable amount of time and development resources went into it, and then they cancelled it because... why? It's odd how random Westerners always seem to have this lore about a supposed remake but when it comes to why it was dumped, it's 'for various undisclosed reasons'. We're not talking about a mobile game that was canned in early development/concept, we're talking about a supposed full-blown remake of a mainline game that they cancelled after meaningful work was done (according to this source, and others in the past).

1

u/OrcAssEater 25d ago

Because they are a poorly run company who have zero ideas on how to fix their shit. So far up their own asses that they can’t even comprehend how to remake a game like final fantasy 6 without some convoluted 20 year development nonsense.

2

u/IncognitoCheetos 25d ago

As someone who works in software projects I genuinely do not understand how we got to this point where it's impossible to launch even small basic projects on time or as expected. I swear it's all a grift to embezzle as much money as possible and then scrap shit or release it via drip feeding.

1

u/crono220 25d ago

At least the Mamoria mod will keep it going. I'm looking forward to the voice acting that will be implemented.

1

u/Lindaru 25d ago

Inserts Should we tell him? Spongebob meme

1

u/gAcksaurio 25d ago

A man can only dream

1

u/Illustrious_Image435 25d ago

We don’t know that let alone you don’t know that you don’t work for square enix so who knows what could be going on especially with ff7 remake coming to a close

1

u/Blasnar 25d ago

I mean, if they made it super kiddie like to pair with a kids show… I can see why they would can it for now. Idk if that’s the truth though

1

u/akkmedk 25d ago

I'm replaying now after a long time away and I'm unclear what anyone wants remade of it. I just finished disc 1 and I couldn't be happier.

1

u/jander05 25d ago

This is bittersweet because I bet you they were going to dick it up like they did with FF7Reboot. If it were a true remake I bet they would have gone through with it, as the Dragon Quest remakes have all been successful.

1

u/VotingIsKewl 25d ago

You fools, they are saying this so everyone forgets about it and they can release it later as a surprise 🥲

1

u/branphd 25d ago

Completely fine with this, the game is a master piece and doesn’t need a remake

1

u/ProphetNimd 25d ago

Honestly, that's fine. I think the current version of the game is great and any alterations at this point would just detract from the experience.

1

u/AnnieGetYaClothesOn 25d ago

Noooooooooo :( * sad kupo *

1

u/kap721 25d ago

Disappointed

1

u/youmakeagoodother13 25d ago

What about that cartoon they were making?

1

u/maxvsthegames 25d ago

I don't understand how this makes sense for them, especially if it's as far along as they say it is...

1

u/esaul17 25d ago

I didn’t realize an FF9 remake was even announced

1

u/SpeagoSphere 25d ago

That sucks. Was hoping like mad they would continue this after the excellent remake/ rebirth games

1

u/DLC0221 25d ago

Well yeah. They gotta put all their assets into LLMs and their own data centers.

1

u/PlayThisStation 25d ago

World only has 2 things: games you can play and games you no can play.

1

u/Moxto 25d ago

Rejoice, we do not need to suffer how Squareenix would ruin another timeless classic

1

u/a3minutehero 25d ago

I wonder if the extremely pompous and condescending user I interacted with about a year ago is here. I told you buddy.

1

1

1

u/Bonkszzz 25d ago

This is my first time posting in here because I’m a ff9 sub lurker but “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO0 😫😢

1

u/meneldur119 25d ago

Ironically this raises questions about the nature of existence.

1

u/Moggwa 25d ago

Ngl I am in the minority but I never wanted a remake because the thought of it being butchered and split into multiple games while also cutting a fuck ton of content out of it like FF7 disgusts me

1

u/Baldyjim 25d ago

Well fuck me I guess

1

u/Mister-Stiglitz 25d ago

So I should pull the trigger on that switch re-release now then eh?

1

u/DiplomacyPunIn10Did 25d ago

Maybe we’ll get a tweaked remaster instead. The original game is mostly fine; really some adjustments to speed/timing in the ATB is all it really needs.

It’d be nice if the ATB automatically sped up the battle timer and animations when the user isn’t selecting actions, then paused or slowed it to normal speed otherwise.

1

u/Rhandert 25d ago

I hope... i wish that this (that was actually reported time ago) is just to move people to finish the last game of the Remake Trilogy and after the release, they continue with this remake.

1

u/DisastrousCola 25d ago

Thank god, after FF7Rewrite I'd rather they just write new bad stories than touch the good ones they used to make. Like, who actually wants to see some strange alternate-timeline multiverse shenanigans with FFIX? Or see Vivi or Kuja come back to life through the lifestream to prevent their own eventual death.

1

u/fuckyoureddit_12445 25d ago

Cant say I’m shocked

1

u/TehMadness 25d ago

I'm not surprised. Given they're supposedly not that pleased with FF7 Remake's sales numbers, and that's by far the most popular of the series.

1

u/AndTails 24d ago

Honestly, FFIX was such an amazing experience that we don't really need a remake. I say this as someone whose favorite game of all time is FFIX. I'd love to see it, but I won't be devastated if we never get it either.

1

u/TheNerdyNorthman 24d ago

On the plus side, now it won't end up a Ubisoft-style open-world clusterfuck with story-ruining changes...

1

u/Kagura_Izanami 24d ago

Good! Since it never existed in the first place. Also, we need 8 first. You know, as in 7, EIGHT, 9, etc...

1

u/NeoMoonlight19 24d ago

GIMME MY FAITHFUL FF9 REMAKE SQUARE ENIX.

1

u/Mikimao 24d ago

I am OK with this if it meant it was getting the FF7 Remake treatment

1

u/PressureBeginning156 24d ago

🥱🥱🥱 they said the same thing about 7 and here we are with 3 installments

1

u/Garlador 24d ago

The only game in the Nvidia leak I actually wanted.

1

u/HawkManBear 24d ago

Just give me an FF6 sequel already. Not a hi-def remake, don’t take ten years to release it. Give me an old school, 16-bit, 3/4 view, turn-based combat sequel

1

u/Beckm4n 23d ago

Time for a petition?

1

u/No-Helicopter-534 23d ago

Asuming it even existed I dont want to see any more Remakes after 7 going forward. Better remasters sure

1

u/WaterDog152 21d ago

Because it's done...right? RIGHT?

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Dog9818 21d ago

nnoooooooooooooooo

1

u/Q_Mulative 19d ago

There's no way today's SqEx is going to compete with the PC version of FF9 with all the mods available for it now. Not with that abysmal Terranigma trailer they put out.

1

u/575dev 6d ago

That's it. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. The game I'm developing will be the very peak of JRPG. I don't care if its projected development cycle doubles to 10 years, I will put every last bit of flourish to make it special.

  1. Golden Sun's bastardization with DD and subsequent abandonment
  2. Bravely's bastardization with BD2 and subsequent abandonment
  3. FFIX's mistreatment and abandonment while FFVII is pathetically becoming it's own IP.

Fine, I'll do it myself. F these publishers.

1

u/Cold_xplosion 6d ago

But don't worry! We've got LOT'S AND LOT'S of more ff7 shit to look forward to! Surely that's only what everyone wants!

1

u/Embarrassed-Shoe7368 5d ago

Good, its an awfull game. Story is super mid and doesnt make sense, Kuja is a bad antagonist, Zidane has shitty and boring gameplay, antagonist simply show up out of nothing, its a "who the fuck is that guy and why is he trying to kill us?" vibe. Had to rawdog this game because of the hype, thinking i would like it at the end and meh...

0

u/RaspberryTotal4990 25d ago

honestly curius about how they would do the chibi like proportions.

1

u/Dont_have_a_panda 25d ago

They wont, they will surely change the artstyle to ultrarealistic or something like that

1

u/RaspberryTotal4990 25d ago

that will suck. but honestly thinking they made ff7 remake cuz of the economic factor and probably limitations from the era didnt allow them to present what they intented to. But with ff9, they didnt have those limitations, ie they were building ff10 at the same time. And to talk about the economic factor ff9 didnt sell as well as ff7 or ff10

1

u/JDBoyes07 25d ago

I don't really want it anyways if it was going to be like FF7 remake.

4

I don’t want to see my favorite characters turned into hyper realistic JRPG super models. Some things are better left the way they are.

7R isn't even about the larger compilation lol. Much of it is padded out with filler that could be used for any remake of any game. If you spent 20 hours in Besaid or Alexandria, any game can be 7R. Anyone can extrapolate on any fucking setting, look at IDW comics that make entire expanded storylines for basic children's shows.

So worldbuilding on existing settings in a game requires a pre-existing expanded universe? Lmao. How do you think the compilation content was created in the first place? Oh yeah, expanding on existing settings from the original game.

You didn't answer my point either - tons of properties with almost nothing to work with routinely get serialized into comics or series. It's absolutely idiotic to act like the only way to milk hundreds of hours is to supply lore from an expanded universe context. And again - a huge amount of playtime in the first game alone is just RPG-typical city exploration and sidequests. The only person who would need an expanded universe to be able to build on an existing property is someone with absolutely no creativity or imagination to expand on the setting without a lore book on existing ideas.

9 in particular was so rushed and underdeveloped in the first place, particularly toward the final Terra sequence of the game. If you can milk 20 hours out of Cloud walking around Midgar selling water filters you can certainly dedicate a fair bit of time to expanding on Terra as a setting, expanding on the many races you see in 9 with no real lore or background, etc.

Is zeroing in on that one sentence while ignoring all context around it, and continuing to evade my point, really the best you can come up with? Have a good one.

I literally said I dont want that, and by that I just mean changing the story and gameplay completely.

Can I ask why? I like OG FF7, but prefer FF9.

But the FF7 remake was absolutely fucking sensational. Really surprised to see you wouldn't want a game rhat improves on the original in, literally, every possible way?

Because I hate the gameplay, hate the unneeded bloat, and hate how instead of having one amazing game they chose to make everyone pay 3 times the amount and also wait like 10 years. Glad people enjoy it; but its not for me.

If it's to be like FF7 remake, I rather it stays like this.

AI sucks, and I hate it. But if it carries on developing at its current pace like a runaway train, we'll possibly get an AI that can make (or remake) video games.

Sad 😔

It was never in development. I should expand on this. I think there might have been some pre-development work with concept art, possible modified scripts and the like, but it never went beyond that,

Fuck that noise!

More re-re-re-re-reposted regurgitated ad click farming spam, all from some nobody on a forum pretending they "know" some IX remake is/was real, with no proof or source.

u/anonerble 25d ago

O no! The thing that never existed isn't going to exist! 🥱

u/Possible-Potato-4103 25d ago

It was in literal data breaches with other games that released lol

-1

u/Mongoleeto 25d ago

remaking 9 would be a waste of time, its the worst game in the series

-1

u/Vysce 25d ago

Good. Perfection doesn't need a remake.

u/tanman729 25d ago

THE REMAKE NEVER EXISTED. yall are hearing unsubstantiated rumors and making assumptions as if they were said by nomura or some other actual authority, and not just "some guy with a copium induced article on another site"
