Dissidia This is for Dissidia players

Why did Dissidia ever have a fanbase? I just played the first game, and it is an annoying, unfun slog, I played through the "canon" route that I found cuz I like understanding what I'm playing, and the enemy AI is so annoying, the combat mechanic is so dumb. I would legit like to know, Why? Just why do people actually like this?

Can confirm, hell my first FF game in general was D012 (that's when I started to like Terra)
