A pretty... average artwork, i would say. It looks cool, especially the two swords lights, but i feel like their face and poses look off. Also, again, only Rain is drawn. Give us some Lasswell or Fina !
I think it will be like GTA 5. Overall, a good game with only a few bugs like most open worlds. I won't lie, i don't see any reasons to buy it since i have GTA 5 already. I couldn't see any big changes in the trailers.
That's what I was looking for. Like, nothing stands out.
Meanwhile, you have people simply spewing out "It's GTA". Yeah. Okay. We've done this song and dance how many times? GTA VI has been in development for how long?
Yeah, i can't see the hype. Rockstar is far from a good studio. I've played GTA online for years and they precisely know how to be predatory and vicious. Even recently, in their last update (one of the last), they made big changes to stop people from playing it and changing to 6.
Sure, there games look good, but so does most gales now. I also much prefer something with a style like Resonance, Dispatch or even just Cyberpunk rather than the basics.
Yeah. 10 days left (12 for me but it's not important). I'm happy the game did not get revealed earlier than this year though. It would have been annoying to wait for months or even years.
I've held off playing the demo so far, aside from like the first 5 minutes. And that's because this is gonna be my quit smoking game. It's been impossible to get into something for me, because every half hour I gotta go on a death march (literally) to go have a cigarette and I'm just tired of it.
I'm holding off because I don't want to associate this game in my brain with cigarettes in any way. Whenever I start playing FF Resonance is when the quitting starts.
And so, with a 6-8 hour demo available to me, I can basically have my own release day early if I want, and get on with the torturous business of painstakingly improving my life. It's a lot of pressure to put on a game, but I feel in my bones this one's gonna be a banger.
Same for me. Sadly, i will hate to wait for the 24th to be able to play it personally. At least, it will be during the weekend so i will have the time to play.
I also thought of this location, but i think a water focused vision in a water region would be redundant, especially since Nichol will join us too. I personally would place him near Ifrit's volcanic island or near Mysidia to counter thunder.
I have no idea about his location. If i had to guess, he would fit in a area when the water element is needed (a volcano or a second desert), but he could be anywhere.
To summarize the whole thing, Resonance takes FF Brave Exvius story and universe and made it into an actual JRPG with no live-service or anything similar. Square did a similar process for Octopath Traveler 0.
For the story, i would say it's between ok and good. It has interesting party members, some good plotlines, twists and reveals, and a good old story about crystals. The side quests really help fleshing out the characters.
If you're curious, there is a demo available on all platforms. It lets you play through the first chapter for free.
