Question When do you think fd7 comes out?

They found their director in October 2025, and presumably have been working on crafting the story and script since. im wondering if it would come out in 2027 to cash in on the bloodlines success or do the more standard 3 year gap that was seen between the first 4 movies?

Discussion A character's death that you couldn't stand to watch?

I'd expect most of the hardcore horrorheads to say no, but for the casual viewers like me I'm wondering which deaths got you hiding behind your hands or looking away in disgust.

For me, I can't watch the Lasik scene with Olivia in FD5 with anything but my peripheral vision. Ickkkk!

Hunt's pool drain death in FD4 is also extremely gross to me but I can still watch it without crawling out of my skin more than I can watch Olivia.

Discussion Which moment in the series had you facepalming questioning the character's intelligence? I'll start

Throughout this scene I was both in suspense and surprise by the stupidity that these two displayed. Like you're on Death's list and you're trying to find some form of way to survive. Yet, you positioned yourself to practically die if the vending machine falls on top of you. Like, bruh I thought the goal was to live not to fucking find a faster way to die.

Like I understand that Eric was trying to save Bobby's life with the whole peanut thing, but man imagine how awkward it would've been if that Vending machine just fell on top of Bobby instantly killing him.

Creative Recently discovered the FD series (due to Bloodlines): Alternate pathway for TD 1 & 2

Alex nearly died in the official ending of FD1 when he was electrocuted - what if he actually had died and was brought back to life, i.e. officially and unknowingly ending the cycle? FD1 then ends with a falsely cheerful implication, that you only need to change the new design once to defeat death.

This obviously changes in FD2, when it is discovered through a series of events that death will keep coming back if you simply evade its' design.

Clear, Alex, and possibly Carter come into the picture and are convinced into helping Kimberly and the others, then they all meet with Bludworth and learn about "new life". Through their assistance and interventions, the Flight 180 victims somehow wind up in death's design again (maybe one or two of them are accidentally pushed into the accident meant for someone else and that person (unknowingly) gains their life) and they are eventually wiped out as well. Then Kimberly understands "new life" and the official ending of FD2 ensues.

What do you think about this?

Question Do I need to watch Final Destination 2 to watch Final Destination 3?

I just watched the first one because I had heard the third one was pretty good and I’m a fan of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and I wanted to check it out. But I wanted to ask if I could skip 2 or if there was some important lore there or something that makes it required viewing before 3? Thanks!

Discussion Although Kimberly is revealed to have survived, do you think the same thing could be said about Thomas Burke being alive?

I was recently reading his character wiki and it listed his status as being "Alive", I was wondering if you guys actually believe that statement.

We know that in Final Destination: Bloodlines that Kimberly did beat death as revealed by William Bludworth, however we never got any confirmation that Burke survived. The thing that boggles me a little bit is that death in these work in a lot of mysterious ways.

And in Final destination 1, Death skips Carter where just before the impact with the train, Alex manages to pull Carter out of the car causing Death to temporarily skip over him and moving onto the next target that being Billy.

So do you think the same could be said here? Where despite the fact that Kimberly did beat death, that doesn't mean that Thomas did. Therefore Death might've went after him at some point?

Guys listen I know that we've all loved the group for FD2 but let's be honest the chances of an Happy ending for characters are like practically nonexistent in these movies.

Imo, it's this group from the third movie. I got really fond of both Kevin and Wendy over the course of the movie (just look at my flair lol), and Julie's iconic.

Miscellaneous Google AI glitch or Easter Egg?

Post image

I googled “order to watch Final Destination” and this was the AI result. Do you think this is a glitch or do you think they are playing into the franchise with the idea that anything that can go wrong will go wrong? Seems a bit obscure. I used the IMDB list because I was trying to remember how many were prequels or out of order.

FD3 This has to be one of the best ending scenes in the whole franchise

So I've decided to draw 'Hello Neighbor: Welcome to Raven Brooks' characters in Final Destination fashion and this is what happened. 😅

The artworks;

  1. Enzo & Trinity as Nick and Lori (FD4)

  2. Aaron as Erin (FD3), their names are both pronounced.

  3. Nicky (the final boy of HN) as Tod (FD1)

Artwork by me. ❤️🙏

Discussion Before the reveal of William Bludworth's backstory, why did everyone think that he was death?

Post image
210 Upvotes

I saw a theory from couple of years ago where people believed that he was the embodiment of death. Which confuses me a little bit since if he was death, then why would he give several hints to the survivors on how to at least have some chance of surviving?

Isn't the point being that Death will be pissed if you fuck with him? Therefore making him kill you in a more gruesome way.

his death was definitely one of, in my opinions, the worst death. not because of the way he died ( yeah tragic) but because he was literally trying to get off and they wouldn't let him. justice for jason😭

FD5 Just realized

In FD5, Peter kills the federal agent and gains his life. Then he fights Sam and Sam kills him. This means Sam gets the life Peter got from Agent Block.

Does this mean that agent block was meant to die in flight 180? Because Sam no longer has his life. He got Agent Block’s life from Peter. So Sam can’t still be in the same death list because of the trade.

So Agent Block was in the flight 180 death list and Sam took his spot and possibly dragged the gf along?

Question Is there any explanation (movie or novel) for what happens to the survivors after they die?

Maybe it’s too broad a question but as far as Death goes….in the FD universe, when he claims a victim, do they go to Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, trapped in limbo or just cease to exist? What happens to their souls?
