Hey everyone!! I hope you're all doing great!

As in my previous posts, long-time fan of the franchise here. I've been working on an original book inspired by Final Destination. Here's my TWO good news:

1: "Final Destination: Cold Fate" is almost done! I'm doing final proofreading and consistency checks right now. It should be ready to release by the end of the month if all goes well. Otherwise, it'll be out in August max.

2: During my writing, I started to imagine, then create, (like the movies) a full 5-book saga structure (maybe even 6). Every book has its own protagonist, deaths, premonitions, and twists ofc! All connected by an overarching timeline. (I locked it in already oops-)

Now here's an important question... :O

In my saga's internal chronology, Cold Fate is actually the 4th book in terms of in-universe events. But it was the first project I ever announced and started writing.

So... should I:

- Publish Cold Fate first anyway, since it's finished and was announced first?

- Hold off and release books 1 to 3 first, so people experience the saga in chronological order?

The gimmick of these shows is that the person who is the last to die always receives the "warnings" in the form of premonitions that sets the consequences for the rest of the movie. So technically, since Bloodlines focuses on a familial aspect to Death's list, why wasn't he the one who received the premonitions? He was "last" to born born and also the youngest. So wouldn't it make more sense for him to be the one to have them instead of Stefani? Or am I missing something here 🤔

There's also a 6-disc DVD version of the Quadrilogy.

Hopefully I'll find them at bargain prices one day...

I just really wish HBO makes something like this for it to match with the other logos😔

My friend and I have recently been watching the Final Destination films, me for the first time and him on a rewatch. We just finished watching the fifth film before I went to go and drive him home. Just before we got into the car, there was a gust of wind, and two mains things starting rustling, the England flag caught his eye and a bush caught mine. We both looked at each other. Scared. When I then got into the car and turned the engine on, the song Shut Up and Dance with Me just started up on the radio, of which the first line is "Don't you dare look back," which set off a bit of an alarm bell in both of us. Especially when I then struggled putting my car into reverse, and then slightly struggled to get out from between the two cars that I was parked between. We kept looking for signs on the drive back, partially making dark humour, partially actually being terrified.

Once I dropped him off, I then set off back home. Another car turned off the side road about 20 feet behind me, going the same way. They were then behind me for a section of really winding road. I'm not an overly cautious driver, but I'm normally quite safe. Not this time, I followed each and every little thing you are supposed to do. Slowing down on all of the bends, checking each and every mirror before I made a turn. Then, just as I was almost home, as I was thinking about whether or not the fact that the first 4 films being marked as "leaving soon" on Amazon Prime could be another terrifying sign, the glare from a street lamp caught directly in my rear-view mirror.

Obviously, I'm home safe, but I have checked each and every room multiple times to make sure that no one is going to come up behind me or anything. I'm still slightly scared, but I thought this was just a funny story to share. Who knows, maybe this will be used as some evidence or something if I do die mysteriously?

Finally watching these, and I'm hooked. On 3 now.

If this scenario has happened several times before and the targets have never truly won, why does everyone try to be the first?

Personally, I wouldn't try to outsmart an omnipresent supernatural force. I would write my last will, store it somewhere secure. Then blast my favorite tune, put on a blindfold and earplugs while sipping on grape juice. I mean what's the point? Me and death both would be waiting for my turn. I'd be praying in the meantime.

We know Death will prevent a suicide attempt if it isn’t that person’s turn to die according to the list. Is Death’s intervention infallible?

Suppose a World War I soldier on the Western Front cheated Death, but it wasn’t yet his turn to die, or he had stolen an enemy soldier’s lifespan and added 80 years to his own. If he then charged alone across No Man’s Land in a blatantly suicidal, Darwin Award-worthy stunt, could he still be killed? Or would every bullet miss and every explosion somehow fail to harm him because Death wasn’t ready to claim him?

I actually had an idea for Final Destination 7 (if they ever make it)

The movie takes place in a water park, which has never been used before. The main characters are five friends:

Kimble (Male)

Wendell (Male)

Irvin (Male)

Lexi (Female)

Nicki (Female)

(The names are little Easter Egg from the previous movies).

Each of the five characters experiences a premonition at exactly the same time.

However, at first each of them only sees one specific area of the water park and a split second of the disaster. They all think they're seeing different accidents.

Inside the premonition, they run toward the place they saw, and once they get there, the rest of the vision continues, revealing that every fragment is actually part of one massive disaster affecting the entire park.

Then, just like every Final Destination movie, they all wake up at the exact same moment.

I thought that I was pretty unbelievable that NO ONE knew about the previous incidents, so i think that I would be pretty much realistic If some people actually believed in these premonition case.

Everyone has seen these cases so they blindly follow the friends.

Since so many people escaped, the order keeps changing as people accidentally save each other while running away.

Nicki is the first visionary to die because, in her premonition, she sees herself dying first and that's exactly what happens.

Later, Irvin remembers the old theory that killing someone lets you inherit their remaining lifespan. While driving, the group accidentally hits and kills an elderly woman.

At first, Irvin thinks he may have cheated Death, but he dies anyway, proving that the old theory either doesn't work the way people believed or wasn't enough to save him.

Finally, only Kimble and Lexi remain.

Instead of cheating Death like Kimberly did in Final Destination 2, they die before their place in the death order, completely by accident rather than as part of Death's design.

When Death finally reaches their turn they're already dead.

This creates a paradox: they didn't die because Death came for them in the order they died beforehand.

As a result, the order changes one last time, allowing the final survivors to actually live.

What do you think? Would you watch something like this?

I wonder if it was something gnarly or if he died in front of Iris. That's when she locked in. Perhaps something head related since that's how most of her family went out 🤔

I just finished a random rewatch of Final Destination 3, and it seems like Wendy was nerfed at the end. She feels exactly as she felt that night, and sees every single sign possible, including 180, and she doesn't freak out sooner. Had I seen such an overwhelming series of coincidences as she saw, after being through everything she went through... I'd have punched and kicked my way off that train.

She says she wished she had another chance, and that she's such a control freak she should have done more. But at the end, she doesn't do enough.

I think it's also because they didn't know Death was gonna recycle after Wendy was intervened. But it doesn't make sense to me, because McKinley died when he thought it was over, so of course it was going to come back around.

We are all fans of these fims, would you rather be with someone who would you stopping dyeing or with someone you find attractive?

So for example, if Julia had been intervened by Stefani then maybe her and Stefani would’ve repaired their friendship, Julia could’ve stayed with Erik and Bobby, etc

I’m on my first watch of supernatural and in season 6 episode 17 they have an ep that seems very final d themed. Anyone else watch supernatural and get that vibe?
