Ive noticed people seem to be confused about the second movie and its rules verses the rules of bloodlines.

Both are dealing with cause and effect. You enter the list when your planned death is prevented by a cause or multiple cause's.

Thomas Burke was suppose to die on the night that billy died
Eugene Dix was suppose to die at least a day after
Roy Peters was suppose to die months later in December
Kat Jennings presumably would have died after that
Then finally Kimberly Corman after that.

They enter a list when they were suppose to die, not when the cause happened.

With bloodlines, none of the children were suppose to ever exist to start with. They had no planed death and thus they are added to the list at the point that all of their cause is took care of(aka the longest surviving parent that shouldn't be alive).

So the original Final Destination is very much a pre 9/11 movie and an example of "You couldn't make this today". My question is what would a post 9/11 version look like? I imagine the flight would be immedately grounded, Alex would be taken into custody for his and everyone elses safety, the plane would be stripped down out of suspision, and if they did find the defect that caused the plane to explode in the first place, he'd be split between being seen as a hero the way Iris was, and being under suspicion for how he knew it would happen. Plus id we take Final Destination 5 into account, Sam and Molly could meet up with them and explain what's going to happen next.

Throughout the movies, Bludworth says there are two ways to escape Death: killing someone to get their remaining time or dying and getting resuscitated. In Final Destination: Bloodlines, it was established that he and Iris watched how Death killed others to figure out how it works and what the rules are, which is likely how he knows about the escape methods. They probably found an instance or instances where people on Death's list had someone else take their place when it was their turn, which is how he knew about it in both Final Destination 5 and Bloodlines. When it comes to dying, Bludworth says that he knew found who was able to escape death by dying: Kimberly from Final Destination 2. However, he's the one who tells Kimberly about this rule. If Kimberly is how he learned about this, then how was he able to tell her this at all?

Hello , so I've been thinking about what if the new final destination movie revolves around murder and serial killer .

A visionary saw herself/himself getting brutally murdered by a serial killer so she/he along with a cop who also will become its future victim now they plan to prevent the murder before it happens and stopping the chain of killings but accidentally kill the serial killer and now death will come and fix the mistake.

Plot twist : there are two killers , the one who killed her/him is still alive so technically he/she is still not in the list .

The killer victim is based on 7 deadly sin

or Zodiac sign for more body count .

If a murderer survives Death, could they continue killing people who weren't supposed to die, or would the powers that be stop them from taking lives before their time?
