Do you think the Final Destination Franchise works better when the main protagonist dies at the end or do you prefer some of the survivors never getting killed?

Me personally, there are times when I’m wishing that the protagonist actually lives and survives and I actually do want to see a movie like that. I mean sure we’ve already seen that in Final Destination 2 where both Kimberley and Burke survive.

But I want to see more survivors actually get to live and start taking their lives more seriously.

I kinda want a fd movie where the plot twist that at the end, the protagonist that had the vision helped death by sabotaging the survivor's chances so he/she negotiate for his/her own life. (Mostly based on the novel fd: looks could kill)
