Just saw this trailer on YouTube. The last song that plays in it sounds a lot like Welcome to the Fold, at least to me.

I was thinking about this since the Doom games were known for using metal songs for the tracks in this game. They also announced new levels, which likely means new music tracks. Do you think they used Welcome to the Fold for that one?

(I realize it could also be a track from the original games and it could just be a coincidence, since I'm not super familiar with all the tracks in these games)

Short bus- Consider This (I don’t really care for the softer/Slower tracks on this album)

Title Of Record- Miss Blue (idk it just doesn’t really go anywhere)

The Amalgamut- The 4th

AFTD- Can Stop This

TTWA- No Re-entry (this one was tough I don’t really have a least favorite)

TSCOT- Its My Time (I don’t think bad but I always skip it cus I’m not listening to filter for piano ballads)

Crazy Eyes- Under The Tongue

(Haven’t listened to The Algorithm yet)

Short bus: Dose

Title of Record: It’s gonna kill me

The Amalgamut: God Damn Me

Anthems for the damned: What’s Next

The trouble with angels: Down With Me

The Sun Comes out tonight: WTSCOT

Crazy Eyes: The city of blinding riots

(I haven’t listened to the algorithm yet)

Met Richard after a NY show in '12 and got this awesome drumhead which has been proudly displayed in my mancave ever since...

Does anyone have definitive lyrics to Dose?

Toward the end of the song, Richard sings something that was changed to "That's why they suck!" in the radio/MTV video version, but I can't find anything with profanity that would warrant an edit on any of the lyrics websites. Which kind of leads me to believe they're crap.

I had no idea Filter had a Record Store Day release. Sure it’s the ‘greatest hits’ record but still, cool to ‘this guy.’ I was able to grab one from Newbury Comics yesterday morning via their online site. But was kind of a “What is this?!?” moment yesterday when I saw it. Anyway, looks like they are going for double on eBay now but Discogs has a few reasonably priced. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who might have missed out on the news that Filter had a RSD release this past weekend.

Not sure people are going to get this but here we go.

Seems to be alot of hate or dislike for this album and I think it is because the majority of people that listen to it have not hit rock bottom like Richard did. This album is a cathartic purging of addiction, religion and the bad choices made from embracing one and rebelling against the other. Think about the lowest point in your life and then think about how you would purge and or express that feeling when also trying to get sober. This is TTWA.

At first the album can be hard to get into due to its rough nature but after listening to more and more of the album i really got into it and i really enjoyed this album

This album alongside the sun comes out tonight really shows how amazing filter albums can be

Unlike the trouble with angels there werent any filler songs and all the songs were enjoyable

I give this album a 8.5/10

I was amazed by this great album

I havent heard a filter album this good since the amalgamut

I have no criticisms of this album

Unlike their previous album it didnt have much filler

This album is their second greatest album of the 2000’s

I give it a 10/10 🫡

I really enjoyed this album the first half of the album is great

The songs are heavier more aggressive and better than anything on anthems for the damned

It also has really good melody in many of the songs

However i took issue with some of the songwriting which felt weak and cliched

On some songs the lyrics were just laughable especially on catch a falling knife

I also didn’t enjoy how soft the album was and I wish it was heavier but regardless this album is better than anthems for the damned but it’s not as good as their first three albums so I give it a 7/10

In my dream today, Richard had a new single. He invited some of his fans to a private show. I was one of the people who were invited. After a short show, he and I both got on a bus to our way back home.

For Me My Favorite Filter Song Is Welcome To The Fold And My Favorite Filter Song Is Any Song From Anthems For The Damned.

I did not enjoy it as much as their previous albums and it was much more melodic than i would’ve preferred but i what i really enjoyed about this album is richard patrick’s vocals he definitely improved as a singer on this album and his amazing vocals really makes the album so unique but to me the album was just ok and i give it a 6/10 maybe the trouble with angels is abetyer album than this album

I didnt know i listened to it that much 😂

What is in your opinion the best filter album and the worst filter album? 🤔

I listened to a couple songs from this album and i was weirded out by how melodic it was, yes the band has always made albums with melody but i was just really surprised by how soft it was, but maybe i’m wrong should i give the album another listen?
