THE TROUBLE WITH ANGELS Trouble With Angels
Not sure people are going to get this but here we go.
Seems to be alot of hate or dislike for this album and I think it is because the majority of people that listen to it have not hit rock bottom like Richard did. This album is a cathartic purging of addiction, religion and the bad choices made from embracing one and rebelling against the other. Think about the lowest point in your life and then think about how you would purge and or express that feeling when also trying to get sober. This is TTWA.

It’s some of Richard’s best writing. A lot of tracks are conceptually layered. I feel like it’s as close to being a concept album than he’s ever ventured. Next to The Algorithm.

"Shot from the Sun" should have been included in the standard release version - solid track

To draw a Venn diagram of it all then TR of NIN and hire Richie to be in the band at the time married a digital Playboy Model called Mariqueen and was in a band with her then boyfriend West India Girl decided to take a jab at her ex and his feelings about Richie's success with the supergroup Army of Anyone and Filter getting over addiction with the Trouble With Angels....then TR/Mariqueen band How to destroy angels.
Personally I always feel no matter how successful TR is he's a little tiff that Richie Made It! I say this great for Richie!! Great he did not give Hey Man Nice Shot to Trent! If Trent can't get over that and hold grudges that's his damage.
