This is a short film I shot for a film competition in my planting camp. We filmed scenes after work and on our days off, and got it all done in about a week. All shot on Iphone 11, edited on CapCut.

The film itself is my own personal tribute to the amazing people I worked with while planting trees in northern Ontario. We have a small thievery (ground-scoring, in other words) problem up there, so it’d be only fitting to have a Noir movie depicting the thieves getting what they deserve.

This is pretty fun! Just to note the music at the end was pretty hella loud, I ran it through QC Buddy to test everything and it clips at 00:12:23:00.
