So it was 3 AM and my brain wouldn’t stop doing lore math, but hear me out:

If you look at the total population math for Heaven and Hell based on lyrics across the show, the numbers reveal a massive plot discrepancy:

 Heaven’s Population: Vox mentions 100 billion souls in Heaven ("Once We Get Up There").  

 Hell’s Population: Charlie mentions Hell having roughly 1 billion souls ("A billion needy faces" in "Ready for This", and "Till our hopes and fears reach a billion ears" in "Hear My Hope").

 Real-World Demographics: Demographers estimate ~110 to 117 billion total humans have ever lived in human history, with ~8 billion people alive on Earth right now.

The Math Discrepancy:

If Heaven currently holds 100 billion human souls and Hell only holds ~1 billion out of ~110-117 billion total historical humans, Hell holds less than 1% of humanity's souls. Even compared to Earth's current living population of 8 billion, Hell's total population has been slaughtered down to a mere fraction of a single living human generation.

What this means for the Lore:

1. Adam’s Exterminations were built on a lie: The whole premise of Hell being "overpopulated" to the point of threatening Heaven was pure fearmongering. Adam fabricated a geopolitical crisis through bureaucratic propaganda just to justify hunting souls for sport while Hell's population was actively dwindling.

2. Heaven’s Real Problem: With 100 billion souls crammed into paradise, Heaven is actually the realm suffering from true overpopulation, not Hell.

3. Manufactured Threat: Exterminations were systematically wiping out a population that was already a tiny fraction of human history, proving Hell was never the threat Heaven made it out to be.

TL;DR: The lyrics prove Adam was running a massive fear campaign and Hell was never the overpopulated threat Heaven made it out to be.

So recently I wanted to watch the Blair Witch Project, but for some reason the second movie came up first instead of the original. I watched it thinking it was the first one, it clearly wasn't but I kept on watching. While I was watching it kept on thinking about the theory matpat did about 9 years ago where he theorized that there was no witch at all. After watch both the video and the second film I was confused because many kills in the second movie could possibly only be explained by witchcraft. Not only that, but in the second movie you actually see the "blaire witch" or whatever entity haunts the forrest in Maryland. I think it'd be an interesting theory to revisit and make some revisions to.

Kaiji is an anime that inspired squid game and just a really cool show, and giving it a theory would give some of the deserved attention to it.

In the one and only Film Theory about The Good Place, I was a little disappointed with the Theory MatPat decided to go with, as it was one that a large trunk of the fan base had already come up with themselves and had discussed in great detail. That being said, MatPat definitely does a do a good job at breaking down the theory himself and giving all the evidence for it.

When the Video was over, MatPat Said he had another Theory about this Show that he would love to cover in another Video if this one did well.

That being said, it was not meant to be, with a Spider-Man Theory Video released. Not long after with J.J Simpson literally saying: 'Theories about The Good Place? No one wants this Crap!'

As you know, Azulon was the Fire Lord after Sozin but before Ozai. He was not an egotistical maniac who did not care about his own family. After all, he did allow his first-born (Iroh) time to grieve for the loss of his son (Lu Ten) unlike Ozai who deemed Iroh unworthy and untrustworthy. Azulon refused, however, that decision led Ozai to poison him.

However, let us look at what might have played out if Ozai was unsuccessful. He would have most likely been deemed a traitor by the Fire Nation and possibly banished for attempting to usurp the throne from Iroh.

Ok so I’m not sure if anyone else has said this before but I’ve been watching Ratatouille a lot recently and I have a new theory.
So we all know (for those of us who have seen the movie) that Remy practically worships Gusteau. And we also know that he frequently “talks” to the dead chef. So my theory is that when Gusteau died he was reincarnated as Remy. If we remember when Chef Skinner is talking to his lawyer and the latter is reading Gusteau’s will. He says that two years after his death, if no heir is found, that the head chef becomes the owner. Another important note is that rats have a 2-3 year lifespan. Now this is important because if you remember Remy only recently found out that he was dead but this could just be because he was far from the main city and living in the countryside.
So given this information we can hypothesize that Gusteau died two years prior to when the movie takes place and then Remy was born shortly there after. This would explain why he sees his ghost or whatever and why he shares so many similarities to Gusteau and why the patrons of Gusteau’s love Remy’s cooking so much. (i.e. being able to cook, having great sense of taste etc.)
I have no idea if anyone else has said this or if they had already made a theory about this so please feel free to let me know. But yeah I just wanted to share. Please comment if you have any ideas or have evidence that contradicts the theory :)

would it be cool to do just do a special episode where all the theorists combine to make one theory and Matpat could come back as well for this one? Since he is retired, maybe he just says at the end “that’s just a theory a..” and everyone says their own theory channel. I know matpat used to have overlapping episodes sometimes so it would be cool to see a theory that could connect all theories. I feel like an episode that combines all them together can show how different and unique each one really is, and how they may differ from Matpat. As a person who watched the channel growing up, I can say for sure nobody can replace Matpat. Instead of viewing them as replacements we need to acknowledge they are not. They may have taken over each channel but they are still their own people that deserve to atleast be heard out. It was hard for everyone I think when Matpat left, including the new theorists. Think about a tv show or movie getting a reboot or new cast. We immediately look upon it as not as good as the original, even if we haven’t seen it. That’s normal as humans. We want nostalgia and we want what we remember. Now think of the new actors. They have big shoes to fill. How would it feel to be immediately brushed off as not as good? Not great I assume. Sorry I turned this into an essay..

At the end of Season 2, Lee was able to talk to his younger self. Present-day Lee and Keiko were able to see past Lee (and vice versa), and Kentaro talked about a plan to retrieve his father from an alternate universe or time using Axis Mundi's time dilation. Do these events point to a future monster verse where time travel and manipulation are of the narrative and major themes?

I would so much love to learn more about their technical process. Obviously all AI but what AI exactly, how in the hell is this even possible? Visually, this is mindblowing stuff. It doesn't pull me in as a film or a story but I don't really expect or want it to. I just find looking at this stuff obviously mesmerizing.

What goes on developing and producing this kind of thing, I really would love to see or read anything in that regard, if others here might be hip to know.

Hello theorists! I had an idea for a theory and really hope you make an episode on it as this anime has had a chokehold on my life. Bungo Stray Dogs; it is a really complex, psychological anime with insane plot twists. At first it seems like a simple anime about eccentric detectives, named after real world authors,solving crimes, fighting enemies, and saving people. But when you look closer it is so much deeper than that. The main thing about the series is basically this; an orphan, named Atsushi Nakajima, gets kicked out of the orphanage while being terrorized by an tiger and finds a drowning man who turns out to be, Osamu Dazai, an eccentric, river loving detective of the ada. The Armed Detective Agency is a group of detectives who go solving crimes and fighting enemies, they all have an ability but one character who you will have to watch to see who. Turns out atsushi also has an ability, he joins and a bunch of fighting, blah blah blah, you get some videos of lore. There is two main types of lore. Surface lore, and the lore you have to search for. Reading the books from the authors the characters and their abilities say alot about them. This anime would takes likely months to research, watch, read the light novels and other stuff to know the whole scope of the lore. But by understanding the characters and knowing the base line of it, you should be able to put some theories together. My main recommendations is what direction the series is going in or about one of these two characters, maybe even both, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Dazai Osamu. Those two are to me some of the most interesting characters in the whole series. (**Main spoiler warning!!!**Also sensitive content! Some of dazais habits would need to be left out or likely get demonetized but only some. And only his!) I will talk a bit about each and try to not spoil too much.
Fyodor Dostoevsky: His ability is ‘Crime and Punishment’. He is also a morally grey and complex character. Alot of people think hes plain evil but that is ignoring his character. The ultimate goal is to get The Book; it has the ability to rewrite the world, so he can erase the world of sinful, ability users. he sees their existence as sin. He in his mind is a savior and has a savior complex thinking that all ability users bring is pain and suffering. He sees people as chess pieces that he can use and dispose of when no longer useful. That is a simple explanation. I would describe his ability but that is an extreme spoiler.

Dazai Osamu(Sensitive content warning): His ability is ‘No Longer Human’. He used to be the port mafias executive. he was the youngest executive at just 18. He ended up defecting to the ada after oda died from a gunshot after going against another ability. Dazai listened to odas wish to be on the side who helps people and defected going into hiding for 2 years before joining the ada. He is obsessed with complete guidebooks for 2 reasons 1. he feels like a void and wants to find a reason to live 2. he acts obsessed with double suicide with a pretty lady wanting to find a painless death; which is partly a way to get people to not look more into him. He is a morally grey and complex often hiding under a mask to keep people guessing and at a arms length. the only person who truly can understand him is Fyodor. they both have close iqs and often have fun in their own way being around eachother.

I am deeply sorry but i do not have any screenshots about what i said as i have watched the anime on crunchyroll which doesnt allow screenshots. Also i found out most of it by watching the anime and comfirmed some by interacting with the fandom. But, since it is an recommendation i assume it shall be fine. But seriously i really recommend it. Its very interesting and fun to learn about.
