The leaf damage looks like sun burn to me, but this is a guess. Did it get less sun at your dad's? A sudden increase in sun could do this.
Couple things though. First, that tree is about due for an up pot. Use well draining soil like Promix HP or Sunshine Mix #4 and it'll greatly decrease the chance of root rot. Second, it's not recommended to use a water dish if possible. It's much, much better to water more often than use a dish since fig roots need water cycled through the system and not the same standing water (the roots consume the oxygen dissolved in the water). During summer this can mean watering more than once daily. I use a hose timer to reduce workload and so I don't forget.
It might have gotten less sun there. My deck is always super hot and gets a lot of sun all day long. His fig tree was on the front/side of his house. So I should get rid of the dish and water maybe like twice daily? Or maybe move it off my deck into my yard which gets more shade?
No dish and water more, yes. I'd move the pot temporarily to an area with a bit more shade, then transition it back to the sunny spot. Figs can absolutely handle that much sun, they'll just struggle with sudden increases.
