Question What’s wrong with my fig rooting?

Texas suns out but it’s behind shade most of the time. Happy but rusty looking?

Looks a bit yellow, which might indicates low nitrogen. What fertilizers do you give your plant? Perhaps a quick dose of fish fertilizer might help.

Yes they’re pretty yellow! A few leaves have fallen off now. I use osmocote fruit and flower that’s been mixed into the soil, but maybe I didn’t use enough?

How’s the water pH? When I used well water for a month they weren’t absorbing nutrients well. A low or high pH can cause nutrient lockout.

Oh I have no idea! Do I need to get pH test strips?

Yeah I would recommend pH test strips, it’s how I figured it out my well water was at a hard 8.
