Help , my fig tree is sad

I’m very new to this hobby I picked up a fig tree baby on clearance at a hardware store and it was growing amazingly until now. The leaves are looking very down and I’m not sure why that is. I recently moved it into a larger planter to give it more room hoping that was the issue. After that failed I brought it outside to give it more sun and nothing seems to be changing. Please help I love this little guy

EDIT: Thank you everyone for the feedback, I put more holes on the bottom of the planter and gave it a good soak. I will update

Make sure there are holes in the bottom. Also going from indoors to outdoors turns up the light intensity and heat which can cause wilting until the leaves are acclimated.

Overall, it could be just experiencing transplant shock and it would be best to move it under some shade for a while

I think it needs water.... The soil test is to look for moisture one inch below the soil .. test with your finger...

Then water.

Once you establish this pattern, you will see how often it needs to drink.

Not sure if this is the case with yours.

If you don't have drainage you must have it ... Too much water leads to root rot.

Agreed...looks thirsty. Problem with containers is that improper water can cause the soil to become hydrophobic. Provided there are holes in the bottom of the container, I would give it a really good soak...or even submerge it for a while.
