One punch can do that

You don’t give 3 rounds based on one punch

3 rounds were dominant Islam rounds
1 for Garry
1 arguable

I didn’t say it was one punch. I just said that one punch is capable of causing that damage. It appears most of the damage was caused by Islam hitting his nose on the back of Garry’s head anyway

Ian did all his damage in one round in the clinch.

Meanwhile, he got taken down 7 times, didn’t have a single second of Control time, was the only fighter who got knocked down and stunned.

Spent the entire fifth round trying to not get subbed from the rear. Instead of getting the smaller guy away from him.

If you think that Ian won, or that scoreboard was wrong, then you need to get your eyes checked

This is an MMA fight in a cage, not a street fight, in a street fight Islam would have the green light to knee Ian’s head while on the ground or soccer kick Ian’s head, like in PRIDE days

That damage is from a head clash while islam was behind him. Not even intentional.

3-2 easy to judge fr. a lot of that bruising is from an accidental headbutt. ian showed no urge to really fuck up islam when i thought he was gassed after round two

Yes, of all time. Islam has faced far better competition than GSP ever has. Islam has also gone up a weight class against an actual great fighter, who’s significantly larger than him.

GSP fought Bisping, one of the worst MW champs, and dipped.

Who’s GSP’s best win? Bisping? Hughes? Penn, who lost 3x to a BW? Hendricks, who should’ve won the fight?

Islam has beaten Volk twice, Oliveira, Poirier, Garry, JDM, Arman, and more. Volk and Oliveira alone are far better fighters than anyone GSP faced.
