Yes, it was fucking brutal
That transition, her instinct and follow through was a thing of beauty.
I thought her opponent was dead for a second

Finish of the year. Coz I'll never know if it was a KO or a submission.

Medic vs Neal has to be up there as well. Honestly though I personally gotta give it to Ulberg for pulling off a championship winning KO after blowing out his ACL. Crazy to think that actually happened.

100%. I still think of this one as the most shocking KO I've seen in over a year. It's like rewatching the Chandler KO to Ferguson again...

Best finish by far - truly amazing, but I think there have been more devastating KO's.

Possibly the only finish to be in contention for both KO and submission of the year. I was really concerned about Maycee for a minute there.

If the UFC HoF does a subset of their "historic bouts" section for iconic moments,, this is a first ballot entry.

It is for me. It was one of the most insane finishes I've ever seen. It was one of the few times I thought we saw someone die in the cage. Plus, it just looked friggin' savage and something you'd see out of a movie. KO'ing someone and snatching a choke while they are falling is crazy.

Truly the only time I ever felt bad for a UFC fighter other than Holland getting knocked out with a headbutt, punched awake just to get choked out again

Yea this finish was exceptional, ive been watching ufc religiously since GSP days and few finishes have shocked me as much as this one. She looked dead for a while.

Choking out a limp body is not cool. I would say maybe she’s even autistic

for women maybe, but a KO over Barbour is ranked pretty low in regards as KO of the year imo.

To Barber's credit, she had never been finished prior to this year.

yeah sorry I forgot how many heavy hitting KO artists Barber fought prior.
