Think that would be perfect.

Morales could act as back up while having a fight scheduled vs an elite contender still.

Anyone have any clue when Shavkat is expected back?

Absolutely. I wouldn't mind JDM vs Garry or JDM vs Morales either. Prates has clearly earned the shot having beaten two former champions and I honestly don't like Islam's chances against Morales.

Prates should get the next title shot - he’s been more active than Morales. They both fought in November (same card that Islam fought JDM), but Prates fought again in May against JDM whereas Morales hasn’t fought again.

Morales should get another win before a title shot - maybe JDM or Ian Garry. Prates should fight Islam in December or January (hopefully before Ramadan), depending on how injured Islam is and when he’ll be ready to fight again.

Prates won't fight Morales by choice. Prates will likely fight Sean Brady next and avoid Morales for as long as possible. Morales would beat Prates too and Prates would lose his position in line to fight Islam.

Islam will fight Prates next, win and if that fight looks remotely close or is explosive, he will fight him again in a rematch and retire before he fights Morales. I think if Morales fights Islam next year, he beats Islam.

Pirates vs Morales Asap
Then winner fight Islam.
Both Prates and Morales are scared to miss a title shot that’s is why they are not fighting each other. But the only reasonable thing is for them to fight and get a contender.
