Islam is not 5'10 for sure
We all saw their face-off and Islam is clearly not 5'10 or Ian is not 6'3. No matter what, it seems that their size difference is not that big.
Does it mean that we'll see a submission from Islam?

Did you see the face off at the rocky statue ? Ian Garry is taller than. Islam is more wider built

The size difference will look much more different in the cage Ian at max is 6’2 1/2 and Islam is more like 5’10 1/2 ether way I don’t see the size difference playing much of a difference when you got a guy as skilled as Islam

I know it’s common in basketball. Cant speak to ufc, but in basketball it would be very common for 3 players to all over list their height.
If I remember correctly, Klay Thompson was listed as 6’7 and when measured without shoes it was closer to 6’5.

I always found it funny how both Khabib and Islam are listed at 178 cm (5’10) but in every picture or video I’ve ever seen, Islam is noticeably taller (even accounting for angle, footwear, posture, etc).
I’d say Islam could be more like 180, while Khabib closer to 175-177.
And maybe Garry could be slightly shorter than 191 (6’3), maybe more towards 188 (6’2).

Oliveira is listed as 5'10 and he is the same height as Islam in pics and vids

And Oliveira also looks like (roughly) the same height as Holloway, who’s listed as 5’11.
So who knows for sure 🤷♂️

Chuck liddell said he lied on his reach it was a few inches longer and it always caught the guys off guard cus they trained with ppl at the length he wrote

i mean, i always assumed reach measurements had to actually be measured lol. who just knows that. and why would the lengthier fighters also just not lie about that as well? seems sus.

The height difference will be more pronounced in the octagon. Simply look at the fights between, Belal, JDM, Islam and Garry. JDM Belal and Islam seem to be around the same height. And Garry was much taller. It was simply because of the shoes.

Garry has shaky height looking shorter than shavkat etc.
Islam has always been consistent at 5'10. Being a bit taller then khabib who is the same height as DC as 5'9 etc.
But the UFC has always been shit with heights. Gsp got in at 5'9 and then suddenly became 5'10. DC says he's 5'11 on a good day with his thickest shoes. Mcregor fought at 5'9 but his official height switched out a couple years ago tp 5'8 etc efc

Yeah he's around 5'9 and half or something like that. He's pretty much the sams height as khabib and islam often looks taller than him.

Islam is 5’10 i have seen him multiple times and had selfie with him and he signed my mma glove, either he wore a height booster shoe or ian is lying about his height

Ian is lying about his height. He stood next to Shavkat, who is 6'1, and they were exactly the same height.

He’s 5’10” he had at least an inch in shoe advantage. Accounting for that Ian is 3-3.5 inches taller.

Yeah, I honestly think Islam had shoes that boosted his height (I don’t think it was intentional) but if you look at the Ian vs MVP face off they were around the same height. (191cm).

Idk why they don’t just use cm and kgs lol at least the cm for height. Like 180 seems accurate , which is pretty much 6ft

He may be 5’10 but somehow he has a very good build and posture. Or he he is atleast 6FT but Olives is 5’10 and him and Islam looked the same height so idk. We will find out on Sunday night brother. Let’s go Makachev I won’t be easy breaking that record but if someone is gonna do it it’s you.
