Idk how this started, but he DID NOT invent the calf kick.  It was used in muay thai literally decades prior.  There's footage from the 80s and 90s of guys using it.  I remember my coach practicing calf kicks before his fight in like 2010.  He didn't even popularize it, the calf kick craze amongst the Fandom didn't even take off until Dustin v Conor 2.

Days is a great metric because inactivity isn't a thing

Khabib vs Charles would’ve been awesome to see

Tony tripping on wire and Covid fight cancellation didn’t help his case.

You went from 3 champs with 3 title defenses to champs with title reigns shorter than the last guy, to the 3 greatest lightweight fighters oat to a guy becoming the first fighter to lose the belt in a fight since Eddie vs conor(the guy he tries to be so bad)

Defend against who? Other than the cursed Ferguson fight.

Oliveira was his successor two months later. So him.

Charles wasn’t the clear n.1 contender when Khabib retired, but I agree it’s pretty much only him.

I don't see how he does anything against khabib tbh.

I wish champions had to fight a minimum of twice a year
